Paul Kagame`s Endless Diplomatic Gambles

Kagame is on the way out, and has become a disruption to progress in Rwanda and the Great Lakes region.

(WASHINGTON DC) - Paul Kagame The saga between Kagame and France continues. It is a familiar story that sometimes sounds like a children's fairy tale. The latest is France recalling its Ambassador to Kigali, whom many have referred to as a French RPF cadre. But what is the reason behind this decision?

Kagame does not want the new French nominee to the diplomatic post in Kigali because "she is too close to the French Foreign Minister", Alain Juppe, whom Kagame considers "hostile to Rwanda's interests!"

Arrested Rwandan Generals are Being Tortured

It is believed that the three were arrested due to their close relationship with General Kayumba who lives in exile in South Africa.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Rwanda President Paul Kagame Sources in the UDF and RDF reported to this reporter that the four generals in Rwanda that have been arrested was falsely reported as being arrested for questionable dealings in the DRC but in reality they were arrested due to the fleeing of 600-800 soldiers in December 2011.

The arrest of these Generals has led to them allegedly being tortured.

Rwanda: Attack with grenades near a market in Kigali

The spokesman of the police, Theos Badege told Reuters that a single grenade was responsible for this tragedy.

(KIGALI, Rwanda) - Police investigate scene of grenade attack in Nyabisindu district of Kigali. 20 people were injured on the evening of Tuesday, January 3 in a grenade attack near an outdoor market of vegetables and fruits being at Nyabisindu in Gasabo District, close to the Stade Amahoro Kigali.

Among the 20 injured, two of them would have died in the meantime, according to a diplomatic source who nevertheless remains to be confirmed by the police, we are told the correspondent on the spot from Reuters, Graham Holliday on his Twitter account.

(SAN FRANCISCO AfrobeatRadio) - Victoire Ingabire, right, and her daughter Raissa Ujeneza, at a Netherlands airport on the day she flew out to return to Rwanda, in January 2010 Victoire Ingabire left Rwanda almost two years ago in January 2010 to return to her native Rwanda in hopes of challenging Rwandan President Paul Kagame in the country’s 2010 presidential election.

Her party was not allowed to register, she was not allowed to run, and she has spent the last year not as the president of Rwanda, but as a prisoner in Kigali’s 1930 maximum security prison.
