Camp Lejeune`s Sickness and Unexpected Déjà Vu

The people who fight this battle every day are ill veterans and family members. They have no champion, no General, no Admiral.

(ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.) - Camp Lejeune “Kidney Cancer – first dad now mom” was the title of the first posting I saw on the Discussion Board of the website “The Few, The Proud, The Forgotten”.

The details of the posting made my heart sink into my boots. Once again, a new member had joined the discussion, looking for information and help. Once again, the story was tragic beyond belief. All as a result of exposure to contamination at Camp Lejeune.

Soldier Suicides: They are Killing my Infantry Buddies

Recruiting and retention are decreasing drastically. Fighting ones enemies is bad enough, when a soldier has to fight his superiors and the VA when he gets out it’s worse.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Army at war Suicides are increasing, alcoholism is increasing, illegal drug use is increasing, spousal murder is increasing, recruiting is decreasing, retention is decreasing.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE STATISTICS????

Berlusconi Stops Short of Copying Obama`s Suntan

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said it would be ‘best’ for the country’s troops to leave Afghanistan as soon as possible after six were killed in a car bombing in Kabul.

(ROME) - Il Cavaliere may have also noted Muammar Qaddafi's tan while paying his respects this past March. The July 28 deaths of two Italian soldiers in Herat, Afghanistan—occurring shortly after the most recent Wikileaks deluge—prompted an article entitled “Obama’s ‘Just War’ is Already Lost” in the Italian daily La Repubblica, in which Italy’s involvement in said conflict is described as follows:

"We Italians are in Afghanistan for America. But the Americans are no longer sure about the reasons they thought they were there… Our [other] allies have understood this and… [are] all in search of a way out and an exit date from the Afghan trap. As for us, we remain hitched to a crazed convoy with various derailed [components]."

`Every War Must End`

Ludicrous? Absolutely! An alternative to war? Peace!

(DA NANG, Vietnam) - B1-B Lancer dropping cluster bombs on SE Asia The words of military strategist Fred Ikle. But, tomorrow, August 1, 2010, the new International Ban on Cluster Munitions is lacking three crucial signatures: Those from the United States, Israel, and Russia.

These three countries, well entrenched in war as we speak, and no doubt continuing to proliferate the use of cluster munitions as they engage their enemies at various levels, do not apparently show an interest in this legacy of war.

Hoorah! Hoorah! Celebration of all Celebrations!

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Veteran saluting If you think for one minute that I am ecstatic about this you are correct! I was first introduced to “loco weed” in 1928 when I was selling newspapers in a “red-light” district.

In 1950, I was again introduced to cannabis as medicine when I started studying for a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology at Oregon Medical School. I have been studying and reviewing medical articles ever since.

VA Does the Unthinkable, Relaxing Official Federal Position on Medical Marijuana

Possibly the biggest news in the modern history of marijuana decriminalization.
