Though top brain specialists have endorsed cognitive rehabilitation as an effective treatment for brain injury, Tricare officials have said that scientific evidence does not justify providing it comprehensively to troops.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords was transferred today to TIRR Memorial Hermann, a premier rehab hospital renowned for its treatment of traumatic brain injuries.

Traumatized Soldiers are Being Redeployed to War

The United States redeploys traumatized American soldiers and marines to Iraq and Afghanistan, giving a rise to the suicide rate among service members, says a peace activist.

(TEHRAN Press TV) - Military funeral "Even though they are suffering from mental trauma, from PTSD, they are often redeployed to Iraq or Afghanistan without treatment," Dr. Dahlia Wasfi said in a Sunday interview with Press TV's US Desk.

This while suicide rates among American soldiers and Marines, particularly those serving overseas, is on the rise.

The Combat Infantryman should have some special recognition because it was he who did the fighting, killing, wounding and dying.

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Combat Infantry Badge Few people who are not Combat Infantrymen know or understand the significance of this most honorable badge. Many of those who earned and wore it above all other decorations often wish they didn’t have it.

As for it, I’m as proud of it as I am of my two doctor's degrees. The Combat Infantry badge C.I.B. is by far the most dangerous decoration. Many of you do not have the slightest idea what I’m talking about.
