Ken Olsen, who wrote the first part, was essentially "spot on" but I have serious reservations about the sequel by Steve Brooks, who has tossed in some rather arguable therapies.

Seeking Positives from the Negatives of War

War would eventually shadow the memories of my formative years, and positive events throughout my life.

(POICVIANA, Fla.) - PTSD After writing the "The Demons of War are Persistent," my personal story of Vietnam, and the struggle over forty years against emotional conflicts, nightmares and guilt, which today is universally recognized as PTSD.

A fine reward for a guy who nearly died caring for America's war dead.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Nicholas Burgin The negative actions of the Veterans Administration (VA) in Colorado Springs toward an Iraq Marine Corps Veteran named Nicholas Burgin, are alarming and in all fairness, totally unacceptable.

They want to make a criminal out of this man whose war service was horrific, with a Marine Mortuary unit in the early part of the Iraq conflict.
