His appointment to a federal district court in 1986 was rejected over pro-KKK allegations. Has he gained any credibility since then?

(SAN FRANCISCO, Calif.) - Jeff Sessions In his June 13, 2017 testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee, Attorney General Jeff Sessions repeatedly denied suggestions that he had improper contact with Russian authorities or hurt this country, which he claimed to have served with honor for 35 years.

That he has served this country with "honor for 35 years" is laughable.

Statement by The President on the Keystone XL Pipeline

America is going to hold ourselves to the same high standards to which we hold the rest of the world.

(WASHINGTON D.C.) - President Obama THE PRESIDENT: Good morning, everybody. Several years ago, the State Department began a review process for the proposed construction of a pipeline that would carry Canadian crude oil through our heartland to ports in the Gulf of Mexico and out into the world market.

This morning, Secretary Kerry informed me that, after extensive public outreach and consultation with other Cabinet agencies, the State Department has decided that the Keystone XL Pipeline would not serve the national interest of the United States. I agree with that decision.

President Obama Gives Honor to Roseburg Victims

"We're going to have to come together as a country, but today is about the families," Obama said.

(ROSEBURG, Ore.) - Presidential helicopter Obama spent about an hour with the families at Roseburg High School. After meeting with them he gave some brief remarks. He spoke softly and it was hard to hear him over the buzz of motors nearby.

“Oregon Governor Kate Brown joined the President for the car ride from Roseburg Regional Airport to Roseburg High School," said White House spokeswoman Brandi Hoffine.
