Today, in the same spirit of non-violent resistance, in Occupied Palestine, Palestinian and Israeli Freedom Riders will be boarding Jewish-only buses to protest the brutality of Israel’s occupation of Palestinian lands.

Searchers and Law Enforcement Still Working Hard to Find Mark Bosworth

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Volunteer search and rescue members continued spot checks in Douglas County today, in the search for Mark Bosworth.

A team checked out a couple of areas on Cow Creek Road following a hunch Mark could have wandered that direction. Cow Creek Road stretches to the southwest awa from Riddle and runs along its namesake creek. No sign of Mark was found.

Those taking part in the event that has saw 10,000 demonstrators gather on day one are Oregon residents like Geoff Thompson, whose hotel caught fire. He can't get a loan, he says he's mad and he's not going to take it any more, and he's one of many people with a similar viewpoint.
