According to credible intelligence sources, Aminul Islam, who was found dead after apparently suffering grievously... was picked up DGFI officials and taken to Savar cantonment, where he was tortured to death.
His body was found outside the Brakhon Sashon Women College, close to the Tangail-Maymanshing highway in Tangail district.

The suspects in the dramatic police custody torture death of a school teacher in Punjab province, are with the Chenab Nagar police station.
The victim, a well respected teacher, was tortured without mercy; hung upside down and crushed; tortured to death over 35 days, several organs failing first.

PAKISTAN: A Newspaper Terminates its Editor After Threats from Fundamentalists

Threats have been made toward an editor with the Lahore based daily newspaper, Takmeel-e-Pakistan, by Muslim fundamentalists, and the group Tahafuz-e-Namoos-e-Rislat Mahaz.
Officials were well aware of the fact that Muslim fundamentalists were agitated, but refused to provide protection to the newspaper.
