Apr-04-2012 14:56TweetFollow @OregonNews Grisly Images and Mounting Evidence of Government Terrorism Recount Suffering of BalochistanTim King Salem-News.comPakistan's 'Dirty War' becomes a little less hidden every day. Extremely Graphic photos of dead bodies...
(SALEM) - Informational details and photographic evidence of war crimes against the Baloch people are continuing to emerge. It is appalling that government terrorism is the product of a nation that actively fights the Taliban - Pakistan. As we have reported, this is 'Pakistan's Dirty War' and its legacy is one of deprived Human Rights, egregious violations of international law, military occupation and dead bodies. The images included below are gruesome, but Americans in particular, who are largely denied coverage of this terrible, grueling 64+ year occupation and siege, need to understand the real nature of its long time ally Pakistan which is a heavily embattled country on numerous fronts. Balochistan was forcefully annexed by Pakistan in a post-WWII land grab, in March 1948, against the wishes of the Baloch people. This occupation has led to endless cycles of violence; five different insurgencies since 1948 that have left so many dead. The current war began in 2001 and intensified in 2005 with a decision to use the Pakistan Air Forces (PAF) to bomb several parts of Balochistan- killing innocent women and children. The historic struggle against deadly government military force and oppression, is generally ignored by the network news and daily newspapers. Most people in the U.S. have not even heard of Balochistan. When the war is referenced, of course, the resistance is often framed in a poor light. As is the case in Sri Lanka, Palestine and Lebanon, the word 'terrorism' is used to inflict state terrorism on civilian populations. This is a foul and hypocritical method of dis-adhering to Human Rights that every government has a legal choice but to uphold and enforce. Indeed, look at the history of any so-called 'terrorist' group more closely, and you will find an entirely different story than the one conveyed in western newscasts. Another part of this continuing saga, is that the Pakistani media only shows one side of the issue. This is part of the sellout process we constantly point to in the U.S. media, where government watchdogs gladly sleep at their posts publishing and broadcasting unchallenged information that supports the government point of view. "As a matter of fact, the people expressed profound hatred toward Pakistan but that larger story was not reported by the electronic media because the media remained under the influence of the military," Baloch Khan Baloch writes. As I detailed in my report, Balochistan & Bangladesh - Enduring Pakistan's Selective Genocide, Bangladesh felt the terrible wrath of Pakistan's government-imposed terrorism in the 1970's during a Genocide that left millions dead. In this report, we reveal the widespread disappearances of politicians who resist the corruption, and journalists who report the actions of Pakistan's government. As Baluch Sarmachar - The Freedom Fighters reports, the problems are continuing and people are taking to the street to demand change. Too Many Missing PeopleRelatives of Baloch Missing Persons have been protesting for release of their loved ones from 692 days while its 60th day of protest in Karachi. It is to be noted that the VBMP and relatives of enforced disappeared Baloch have established a token hunger strike camp in front of Karachi Press Club which continues till this day. Peoples from different walks of lives visited the protest camp of relatives of Baloch Missing Persons to express solidarity with them. They said that Pakistan has long been committing genocide of Baloch nation & perpetrating atrocities against them but recently the occupying state of Iran has also started atrocities in Eastern Occupied Balochistan. Iranian enter Eastern Occupied Balochistan with full impunity from the officials of Pakistani state and commit mass atrocities against Baloch living on the bordering areas of Eastern & Western Balochistan occupied by Pakistan & Iran respectively. The VBMP representatives said the atrocities against Baloch people by both Iran and Pakistan have been accelerated after the resolution tabled in US congress. We warn Iran to refrain from such activities and Appeal to the United Nations, European Unions & Global Organizations of Human Rights to play their role to stop Iranian atrocities. - Baluch Sarmachar - The Freedom Fighters Women and Children SlaughteredThose on the ground say this image is not an uncommon scene. It is tragic; dead bodies of innocent Baloch women and children who were killed by Pakistani occupying forces. They lost their lives during a military offensive in Dera bigti on Wednesday 14 March 2012. The attack that killed these civilians was conducted with the use of jet fighters, gunship helicopters, large artillery and a large number of the well-armed ground troops. The Dera Bigti and Marri regions of Balochistan are the most heavily affected of the disputed lands, where Human Rights are violated by the occupying forces of Pakistan on a regular basis. The worst part, is that there is no accountability with regard to international laws and charters of the United Nations. The reason, again, is mostly attributed to the media's failure to disclose the crimes of the military, committed by the occupying forces of Pakistan. - facebook.com/BalochBook As Baloch Khan Baloch writes, it is shameful that no government intervened to help, and instead they financed genocide and gave guns to what amount to, criminal secret services. The United Nations was supposed to stop all of the atrocities but genocide is passing not only in Balcohistan but in many other regions and no government or the United Nations, seems capable to do anything or stop the atrocities. While fighting Genocide is in this world's obvious better interest, money and the purpose of government counts against this concept. Baloch Khan Baloch concludes by stating, "This is a shame and a crime, a devastated Crime Against Humanity. The legacy of UN and all of them will be a legacy of Genocide. - Baloch Khan Baloch - Facebook Sabzal BugtiThe picture to the right is of the body of Sabzal Bugti S/O Haqdad Bugti who was killed by occupying forces near FC check post in Peersuri in Prikoh Dera Bugti two weeks before this photograph was taken. The FC personnel at first would not allow his relative to take the corpse; the two-week delay in release of the dead body of Sabzal Bugti was an act intended to dishonor his life, by the so-called Islamic country Pakistan. His relative voluntarily took the corpse of Shabzal Bugti has been totally decomposed and some of his body was eaten by flash eating animals. His family urges Muslim Countries in particular, to take notice of this action of tyrants in Pakistan. They appeal to all human right organizations, the United Nations and United States, to take urgent steps to stop Pakistan from committing further human right violations against Innocent Baloch People. [[NOTE: PHOTO REMOVED DUE TO GOOGLE ADSENSE COMPLAINT]] An innocent Baloch Child killed during heavy bombardment by Pakistani air forces In Dera Bugti - occupied Balochistan. The caption for this image reads, "Oh my God this is just terrible!" and no truer statement could be made. It is important to include a terrible photo like this? We deem that it is because it shows the impact this war is and really has been having on families. These are individuals with international rights granted under The Universal Declaration of Human Rights drafted and executed into law in 1948. The use of such an image, will open eyes in the INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY to see what is really taking place while they fail to raise objections. The atrocities that the Pakistani government is committing against innocent civilians in Balochistan include children like this. Of this image, Baloch Khan Baloch wrote: "The image is so sad and terrible but it is also imperative that the whole planet see that there are other GENOCIDES occurring in this moment and that BALOCHISTAN PEOPLE need also help to liberate from terrorism and CRIMES AGAINST HUMANITY occurring there. Thanks for sharing this and so sad about this shameful crimes." What can be done about all of this suffering? First, international pressure needs to be heavily applied and Pakistan must be forced to respond. The United Nations has a vastly unfulfilled responsibility. It is possible? Anything is possible, more media, more photos, more accounts, this has to come forward and those who have the information and documented evidence are welcome to send it to our newsroom, my email is below. ______________________________

Excellent effort Tim; in fact, the Pakistani atrocities on the Baloch are far greater than what is coming out through social media. The Pakistani state terrorists know exactly how to prevent their crimes against humanity from being known beyond the immediate places where they are perpetrated. These images are only of the bodies that have been reconvered by the people; those bodies not recovered are several times more. And live recording of any event is not possible given the harsh treatment mitted out to anyone who dares to do something like this. Please keep up reporting if you can; it will be a great service for the humanity.

Killing of unarmed civilians is a crime that should be condemned whether carried out by Pakistani forces or Baloch freedom fighters. But Ahmar Mustikan's shameful attempt in putting the responsibility of the criminal murder of Prof Nazima Talib, a Shia by faith who was murdered by Sunni fundamentalists and who accepted the responsibility of her killing in the local press is only an attempt to malign Baloch freedom struggle. True to his bread, allegedly provided by Pakistani Interior Minister Rahman Malik, Ahmar is doing his best to malign Baloch national struggle and freedom fighters. Selling one's pen is condemn-able anyway, but doing so by a Baloch origin journalist against the cost of defenseless Baloch is even is bigger crime.

Excellent article. Thanks for highlighting the systematic genocide of the Baloch, whose country was occupied by Pakistan in 1948 through the barrel of gun and who are now being eliminated through the use of brutal force. Balochistan's vast land (making 44 % of Pakistani landscape), rich mineral resources and strategically vital location is the only thing that Pakistan wants and various Pakistani leaders and army generals have repeatedly said that they want Balochistan (the land) and not the Baloch. So they are up to complete this mission. The world has remained a silent spectator on Baloch mass killing is shameful.

Ahmar Mustikhan in real is not a journalist or social worker he is just doing his job as a Pakistani Agent,he has so for far submitted many false reports on media while the many international media such as BBC WORLD , ALJAZEERA RT TV AND OTHER ELECTRONIC MEDIA AND PRINT MEDIA HAVE REPORTED A LOTS OF CASES OF ABDUCTIONS , KILLING AND DUMPING CASES COMMITTED BY PAKISTAN and IRAN ,ACCORDING TO MANY INTERNATIONAL INSTITUTIONS REPORTS THAT THERE HAS BEEN GOING ON A GENOCIDE IN OCCUPIED BALOCHISTAN AGAINST BALOCH NATION, AND SO FAR 14050 BALOCH MAN and WOMEN WERE ABDUCTED BY PAKISTAN FROM OCCUPIED BALOCHISTAN , THEREFORE BALOCH COMMON PEOPLE APPEALED U.N.O FOR INTERVENING INTO OCCUPIED SO THAT MILLIONS OF LIVES OF BALOCH PEOPLE CAN BE SAVED. THANK YOU,
Ahmar Mustikhan April 8, 2012 3:45 pm (Pacific time)
Thank you for your excellent reportage. At the same time you may please consider a follow-up on the crimes against humanity perpetrated by the militants. On April 27 a Balochistan university professor Nazima Talib was shot dead by the Baloch Liberation Army (B.L.A.) Likewise, there are countless cases of unarmed Punjabi and Pakhtun civilians who were targeted by the Baloch Liberation Front (B.L.F.)
