So much for the old moral value that crime doesn't pay.

Op Ed:
Legislators Lagging
Well Behind Building
Better Oregon for All

Corporate tax reform shadows entire state programming, but politicians provide only face-saving praise for “good production.”

(SALEM, Ore.) - Scene from The Grapes of Wrath No matter how thin you slice it, there’s still not enough solid funding by the Legislature to provide, protect and solace more crowding and hurting Oregonians.

That’s “too much” --after thirty years of definitive decay and descent for nearly every Oregon State program and service.

Political Big Picture
Now Striking Terror
For All Thinking Citizens

Oregon Legislative Session Reflects Frightening National Realities.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Oregon State Capitol When one contemplates political realities in the nation AND State, there's nothing left but fear for the future, heavily burdening all responsible, rational cogitators in any Oregon community.

"Sheer terror that shakes any self-confidence" for any real American or Oregon future may be the natural outcome as we abandon thirty years-and-more of neglect and negativity; but that's devastating for desperate citizens at the end of another confrontational Legislative session.

Oregon Public Policy Opinion: A Ladder to the Moon

Chuck Sheketoff says the price tag of the Oregon "Kicker Tax" which mostly benefits the rich, could buy a free four-year education for 42,000 Oregonians.

(SILVERTON, Ore.) - Oregon State Capitol Oregonians are going to get a one-time tax cut of about $300 for the average taxpayer, the so-called "kicker tax" before federal taxes. The top 1% with annual incomes averaging one million dollars - will get 20% and their checks will average over $14,000.

Costing Oregonians Dearly

Founders Built Our Constitution To Protect All Citizens.

Op Ed: Too Little, Too Late, Too Long
Starving Education in Oregon
Kills Any Leadership
For Our 21st Century

“Unforeseen consequences” is no longer an acceptable excuse given centuries of solid proof for educational values-per-dollar invested.

(BEND, Ore.) - timepiece It's not trite to say that children are our future. Or that education pays. But those much repeated lines don't tell the whole story. Here's the rest.
