Oregon Legislative Session Reflects Frightening National Realities.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
When one contemplates political realities in the nation AND State, there's nothing left but fear for the future, heavily burdening all responsible, rational cogitators in any Oregon community.
"Sheer terror that shakes any self-confidence" for any real American or Oregon future may be the natural outcome as we abandon thirty years-and-more of neglect and negativity; but that's devastating for desperate citizens at the end of another confrontational Legislative session.
Coulter is a prime suspect in the theft of the nation's moral compass.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
When we grow up we are taught the difference between right and wrong. Well before reaching adulthood, we are supposed to have a sound understanding of the bottom line, and a reasonable appreciation for the fact that mistakes carry consequences.
It brings us to that rotten speck on the TV screen; a tortured soul called Ann Coulter.

Oregonians are going to get a one-time tax cut of about $300 for the average taxpayer, the so-called "kicker tax" before federal taxes. The top 1% with annual incomes averaging one million dollars - will get 20% and their checks will average over $14,000.
That is roughly equivalent to what it would cost to fund the education of 8,000 Oregon college students.
Founders Built Our Constitution To Protect All Citizens.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
Many thousands of Oregonian kids are suffering --and some will die without the healthcare they need.
But twice-done means nothing to legislative participants willing to wager still more in “political poker with children as chips.”
“Unforeseen consequences” is no longer an acceptable excuse given centuries of solid proof for educational values-per-dollar invested.
(BEND, Ore.) -
It's not trite to say that children are our future. Or that education pays. But those much repeated lines don't tell the whole story. Here's the rest. If we don't commit ourselves and honestly invest in education, NOW, the dynamic of our very livelihood will change. How far behind is it okay to lag? We are failing the coming generations of Oregonians.
Lieberman wants to send our beleaguered military forces into yet another conflict.
(SALEM, Ore.) -
February 24th, 1942 is the day the Voice of America began broadcasting. The drive for freedom and unified victory was a national consensus during the Second World War, people were all on the same team.
Something else that came to be on February 24th 1942 that today is certainly a voice in America, perhaps a national phenomenon... Joe Lieberman.
Lieberman says if Iran won't play by the rules, "we've got to use our force...This could be achieved mostly with air attacks."
