Rumor Mill Claims Monsanto Purchased Blackwater (XE) as its own Private Army

A translation mistake started an information whiplash; the nation's most deadly company, Monsanto, is not buying XE.

(SALEM) - Blackwater (XE) and Monsanto The article 'Blackwater's Black Ops' - by Jeremy Scahill, carried by The Nation, was republished by a number of groups that took the additional step of concluding that Blackwater was purchased by Monsanto, the driving force behind both Agent Orange, and Genetically Modified Food (GMO).

As it turns out, Monsanto did not purchase Blackwater (XE), however there is no question that the groups have done their share of dancing.

I find this worrying that you a Vietnamese, as are some of your staff, could not find time to see children affected by Agent Orange a product made by the company you work for...

(HANOI) - Child in Vietnam suffering from Agent Orange Contamination National Assembly Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan yesterday thanked Bob Filner, a member of the US House of Representatives, for his valuable support for Viet Nam, particularly in connection with the spraying of Agent Orange during the American War.

Ngan said that since Viet Nam and the US normalized relations 16 years ago, there had been great achievements in politics, security and defense, economics, trade, education and training, science and technology, and humanitarian co-operation.

(LONDON) - Len Aldis in Vietnam with Agent Orange Victims While in Ho Chi Minh City on 12th December I decided to deliver by hand a letter to the office of Monsanto. On arrival was told that the director was away on business out of the country, this was the same excuse given a few years earlier.

However I explained to the young Vietnamese lady my disappointment and asked that I would like to have a reply.

New center for Agent Orange victims in Quang Ngai

VAVA will coordinate to eventually build 55 such operations in most localities nationwide to help AO victims.

(DA NANG, Vietnam) - Agent Orange activists in Quang Ngai, Vietnam. A new rehabilitation center was inaugurated on Monday and put into operation to provide shelter, healthcare, and treatment for victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin.

Located on an area of 900 square meters in Nghia Thang Commune of Tu Nghia District, the well-equipped facility is able to offer treatment and training for the victims, who stay as day boarders.
