Missing Idaho Woman Found at Walla Walla Motel

Police here were on the lookout, the woman's family thought she was in Oregon.

(EMMETT, Idaho) - Linda Cook Oregon State Police have confirmed through Walla Walla, Washington Police Department that a missing 67-year old Idaho woman has been located safe and sound at a Walla Walla area motel.

67-year old Linda Cook had not been scene since July 4th, when she unexpectedly left her Idaho home. She was found in good condition.

Two Teens Safe After Getting Lost Near Rooster Rock

Zachariah A. Beugli, age 18, and Tristan R. Propst, also 18, were located by deputies this morning at approximately 7:40 AM.

(SWEET HOME, Ore. ) - linn county sheriff photo Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller reports that two Albany teens were found safe this morning after spending the night lost in the Rooster Rock area east of Sweet Home.

Deputies, Search and Rescue Post members, a REACH helicopter and members of the Sheriff's Mounted Posse spent the night searching the rough terrain when the youth's parents reported they were overdue from a hiking trip.

Oregon Authorities Expand Search for Missing Aircraft‎

The search efforts will continue to focus South of Aurora and will expand during the day to cover any leads that may come in.

(AURORA, Ore. ) - oregon cap photo The Oregon Wing of the U.S. Civil Air Patrol is continuing it's search this morning for a missing Piper Cub single engine aircraft with one person on board that was reported missing by family on Saturday.

The pilot of the Piper Cub, a 68-year-old Portland resident who is a retired airline pilot, was conducting practice flights in his newly acquired aircraft Saturday when he failed to return as planned to the Aurora Airport.

Missing Idaho Woman Could be Enroute to Molalla, Oregon (UPDATE)

The woman was located safely in Walla Walla, Washington July 9th.

(EMMETT, Idaho) - Linda Cook Police in Oregon are trying to locate a missing 67-year old Idaho woman who has not been seen since July 4th, after unexpectedly leaving the home she shares with her husband.

Family members say the woman, Linda Mildred Cook, has a new medical condition that includes acute confusion. They believe that she may be driving to Molalla, Oregon where her daughter lives.

Oregon Authorities Searching for Missing Plane

(AURORA, Ore. ) - cap plane photo The Oregon U.S. Civil Air Patrol is opening a search effort this morning for an aircraft reported missing yesterday on a flight that began at the Aurora State Airport.

The CAP will be initiating the search from their Northern Command Center located at the North end of the field next to Willamette Aviation and Columbia Helicopters.

Amber Alert Issued for 12-Year Old Tacoma Girl

Anyone with information on this incident is asked to please call 911 or contact the Tacoma Police Department.

(TACOMA, Wash.) - Zina Linnik The Tacoma Police Department and the State of Washington issued an Amber Alert on Thursday morning after a 12-year old girl was apparently abducted Wednesday night.

Police say Zina Linnik is a 12 year old white, Ukranian female with blond hair. She stands four feet ten inches and weighs approximately 80 pounds.

(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) - 52-year old David Schwartz and 61-year old Cheryl Gibbs died June 8th in a crash on Oregon Highway 26 A 911 tape of the call a motorist made after witnessing the car sail off Oregon's Highway 26 June 8th has been released. The car was driven by a California priest and his traveling companion, their bodies were discovered Sunday by a Civil Air Patrol plane.

An intense search for the two was underway at the time their red compact car was spotted. It had gone off the highway into a steep ravine.

Police Initially Missed Crashed Car With Bodies of California Travelers

Fatal crash of couple on Oregon coast was reported by a witness.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - David Schwartz and Cheryl Gibbs and the car they were driving when they died tragically June 8th Oregon State Police said today that the crashed car discovered Sunday containing the remains of a California Priest and his traveling companion, was reported as a vehicle going straight "off the road" by a 911 caller when it first happened on June 8th.

June 8th is the day that David Schwartz and Cheryl Gibbs were last believed to be in the Portland area.

(VANCOUVER, Wash. ) - Darby Rouchette photo On June 30th, 20-year-old Darby Rochette was reported to the Vancouver Police Department as a Missing Person.

Darby has been a student at the Tongue Point Job Corps in Astoria, Oregon for the past eighteen months.

She was scheduled to leave Astoria and return to Vancouver, to stay with her grandmother, for the weekend.

Bodies Of Missing Priest, Friend Found on Oregon Coast

Their vehicle was found about 20 yards off Highway 26 in an area not visible from the highway.

On Sunday, David Schwartz, age 52, and Cheryl Gibbs, age 61, were confirmed deceased in the maroon 2005 Toyota Corolla they were believed to be traveling in.
