Missing WWII Airmen Identified After 64 Years

They apparently were buried during the war, but remained unidentified until recently.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Salem-News.com Three U.S. servicemen missing from World War II were recovered and identified in Europe. The Department of Defense says they will be returned to their families for burial with full military honors.

They are 2nd Lt. John F. Lubben, of Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin; Sgt. Albert A. Forgue, of North Providence, Rhode Island; and Sgt. Charles L. Spiegel, of Chicago, Illinois; all aviators with the U.S. Army Air Forces.

Missing Person in Tillamook County Located

A missing person is located after an intense search.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Oregon Civil Air Patrol aircraft The Tillamook County Sheriff is reporting that the 45-year old man who was reported missing last night, and was the object of an intensive search today, has been found.

Oregon US Civil Air Patrol aircraft involved in the search have secured from their search operations and are returning to their respective bases in Salem and Brookings.

Missing 14-Year Old in Salem Located

The Salem teen was located.

(SALEM, Ore.) - 14-year old Abe Moorehead is missing in Salem A 14-year old student from Salem was reported missing to the Marion County Sheriff's Office early this morning. The family told Salem-News that the boy has been located and he is OK.

The family thanks the community for helping. The Marion County Sheriff's Office had been involved in the search. The parents of the teen told Salem-News.com that he was banged up but OK.

Missing Female Student from California Subject of FBI Search

(RENO, Nevada) - Brianna Zunino Dennison has been missing since January 20th, 2008 from Reno, Nevada.  She is a student at Santa Barbara City College. 20-year old Brianna Zunino Dennison has been missing since January 20th of this year. The FBI says Ms. Dennison disappeared a few hours after attending a social functions at an event center and a hotel/casino in Reno on January 19th 2008.

Armed Robbery Suspect Evades Capture in Keizer

The suspect is described as an adult male, approximately five feet four inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds.

(KEIZER, Ore.) - Robbery investigation Police are on the lookout for a man who they say robbed a woman at the FedEx Kinko’s on Jorie Lane Northeast in Keizer. Keizer patrol units responded to the reported robbery just after 8:30 PM.

Sergeant Alan McCowan with Keizer Police says officers arriving on the scene learned that a male adult entered the business and demanded the money from the cash drawer. He said the suspect was last seen fleeing through the front doors of the business and south towards Lockhaven Drive.

Amber Alert Canceled for California Children

The suspects are 30-year old Damaris Nimet Amesquita and 27-year old Jose Angel Guzman Amesquita.

(LOS ANGELES) - The California Highway Patrol has canceled an Amber Alert for three children who they initially believed, were abducted at gunpoint by their biological parents on Thursday afternoon.

The California Highway Patrol canceled the Amber Alert after the after it was determined that there was no threat of danger to the children and no gun was involved. The children remain missing at this time.

Man Who Jumped from the Bridge of the Gods Sunday Remains Missing

Police say the distance from the guardrail to the water is approximately 145 feet, and the water temperature was reported in the upper 30's.

(CASCADE LOCKS, Ore.) - A man remains missing Sunday afternoon when he reportedly stopped his car on the Bridge of the Gods in the Cascade Locks area, got out and jumped over the guardrail into the Columbia River approximately 145 feet below.

According to Oregon State Police Sergeant Julie Wilcox, a man driving a 2006 Toyota Avalon four-door northbound across the Bridge of the Gods, stopped a stopped a short distance from the Oregon/Washington line.

Amber Alert Issued for Texas Boy

The suspect vehicle is a Volkswagen Jetta with dark tinted windows.

(AUSTIN, Texas) - 5-year old Adrian Jaimes The Austin Texas Police Department has issued an Amber alert for a boy who they say was kidnapped in North Austin on Thursday morning.

The boy is Adrian Jaimes, a 5-year old Hispanic male. He is about 4 feet tall and weighs about 50 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. Adrian was last seen wearing a green jacket, black t-shirt and dark blue pants. He may have a bloody nose from allergies.

Murder Investigation Underway in Milwaukie, Oregon

Investigators are asking for the assistance of anyone who may have witnesses anything unusual there.

(MILWAUKIE, Ore.) - A report of a person down in a business at 6:20 AM this morning sent Clackamas County deputies to 17869 SE McLoughlin Boulevard in Milwaukie. When deputies arrived they found a male with obvious trauma.

The person, identified as 59-year old Gurdev Sohi who lived in the Oregon City area, was deceased. Detective Jeffrey Green with the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office says the location is a Texaco station and Express Oil Lube business. The area was secured and detectives responded.

Urgent Amber Alert Issued in Kansas for Suspect and Child

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation canceled the Amber Alert after the boy was found safe in Denton Texas on Monday morning. The suspect was taken into custody at that time.

(KANSAS CITY, Kansas) - Seth Guerrero, the victim, suspect Andrew Anthony Guerrero and the vehicle police believe he was driving. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has canceled an Amber Alert for a boy who was abducted in Kansas city. They say the boy's mother and younger sibling were found dead Sunday morning and the suspect was considered armed and dangerous.

The suspect and the victim were apparently last Seen at 2043 S. 10th Terrace, Kansas City, Kansas. Seth Guerrero, the victim, is a 3-year old Hispanic male with brown eyes and brown hair.
