Missing Person in Tillamook County Located

A missing person is located after an intense search.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - The Tillamook County Sheriff is reporting that the 45-year old man who was reported missing last night, and was the object of an intensive search today, has been found.

Oregon US Civil Air Patrol aircraft involved in the search have secured from their search operations and are returning to their respective bases in Salem and Brookings.

The Oregon US Civil Air Patrol had launched two air search aircraft to assist the Tillamook County Sheriff in their search for a person believed to be missing between Pacific City and McMinnville.

The CAP has launched search aircraft from bases in Salem and Brookings in support for air search assistance from the Tillamook County Sheriff.

The Oregon US CAP operates 7 search aircraft in Oregon such as the Cessna 182 seen in the photo. Aircraft carry a crew of three persons, a pilot, observer and scanner.

Six personnel from Oregon CAP were involved in the search effort.
