(KEIZER, Ore.) - Police are on the lookout for a man who they say robbed a woman at the FedEx Kinko’s on Jorie Lane Northeast in Keizer. Keizer patrol units responded to the reported robbery just after 8:30 PM. Sergeant Alan McCowan with Keizer Police says officers arriving on the scene learned that a male adult entered the business and demanded the money from the cash drawer. "After complying with the suspect’s demands, the employee was ordered to stay in the bathroom. The suspect was last seen fleeing through the front doors of the business and south towards Lockhaven Drive," McCowan said. Keizer Police K9 Officer Stephen Richardson and his partner 'Axel' responded and attempted to track of the fleeing suspect. But McCowan says that after a short K9 track it was determined that the suspect likely fled to an awaiting vehicle and drove away from the area. The suspect was able to get away with an disclosed amount of cash, police said. He is described as an adult male, approximately five feet four inches tall, weighing around 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a brown hooded jacket, black work pants, black boots and a purple bandana over his face at the time of the robbery. Anyone with information regarding this robbery is asked to call Officer Andrew Copeland or Detective Tim Lathrop at (503) 390-3713.
