Over 2 Trillion Becquerels of Radioactive Waste in Pacific in Only 10 Months

This enormous amount of Radioactive Waste flowed from Fukushima Plant into the Pacific Ocean

(MONTREAL) - Fukashima radiation At least 2 trillion becquerels’ worth of radioactive material flowed from the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant into the Pacific Ocean between August 2013 and May 2014, plant operator Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) has admitted.

The rate of release was 10 times higher than TEPCO’s pre-meltdown threshold for radioactive material.

4-Year Old Lincoln City Girl Dies After Being Diagnosed with E. Coli

The girl's friend is still fighting for his life. Health officials are trying to discover the cause of the infection.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Serena Profitt Little Serena Profitt died Monday night at Doernbecher Children's Hospital in Portland from an infection caused by a strain of E. coli. Serena was four years old.

Her five-year-old friend, Brad Sutton, from Washington is undergoing treatment Mary Bridge Children's Hospital in Tacoma, Wash. where he was listed in critical condition early Tuesday evening.

For a similar small employer plan, the average 2015 premium is an estimated $308 per month, compared with $327 in 2014.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Oregon Health Care Costs The Department of Consumer and Business Services' Insurance Division has approved rates for 2015 individual and small employer health insurance plans, and on average, they are lower than 2014 rates.

Although the rate changes vary by insurer, the average monthly premium for an individual standard plan for a 40-year-old in Portland in 2015 is estimated at $250, compared to $262 in 2014.
