Hempstalk Harvest Festival Set For October 17-18th in Tom McCall Waterfront Park

This year's Hempstalk is dedicated to the spirit of several cannabis activists who made legalization a reality.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - hempstalk Hempstalk Harvest Festival will be held at Tom McCall Waterfront Park in Portland, Oregon on October 17th and 18th. Hempstalk advocates decriminalization of cannabis for medicinal, industrial, and social use.

Founded in 2005, the festival features live music, guest speakers, food and goods vendors and information booths. This public event has always been free to attend, with a suggested donation of $10 per person.

Marijuana goes on sale in just a few short weeks... here's what you need to know

"Early sales" of recreational marijuana includes seeds, dried leaves and flowers, and immature marijuana plants.

There are 345 approved medical marijuana dispensaries in Oregon, however, not all of them will have recreational "early sales" available.

Health Advisory Issued August 12 for Water Contact at Sunset Bay State Park Beach

Neighboring beaches are not affected by this advisory.

(COOS COUNTY, Ore.) - beach wave The Oregon Health Authority issued a public health advisory today for high levels of bacteria in ocean waters at Sunset Bay State Park Beach in Coos County.

Water samples indicate higher-than-normal levels of fecal bacteria, which can result in diarrhea, stomach cramps, skin rashes, upper respiratory infections and other illnesses.
