Marijuana Dangers and the Oregonian Newspaper: Petty, Puerile, Pernicious Propaganda

Hoorah for the new marijuana laws!

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - pot propaganda The Oregonian has been bitching about marijuana as medicine from the word “GO”. Every step toward allowing patients to use medicine has been met with a barrage of falsities and half-truths which their staff purported as fact. There have been a few factual statements but then some negative aspect has been thrown in.

Apparently the words pot, pothead, pot doctors and pot patients is at the front of their dictionaries because they use them so much.

Dr. Sanjay Gupta, Marijuana and Weed - An Egregiously Disappointing Program

Marijuana helps many diseases.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - marijuana medicine All of the hullabaloo advertising Dr. Gupta’s apology for maligning marijuana (cannabis) left a sour taste in the mouth of everybody who knew anything about marijuana. He says, “I had steadily reviewed the scientific literature on medical marijuana and thought it was fairly unimpressive.” This is an outright fraud. Even a high school Junior knows better than that.

In his own country, India, it has been used as medicine for about 3,000 years. He is supposed to be a scientist, as well as a physician. How can I, or anyone else, accept his apology about marijuana?

Marijuana vs Dangerous Drugs: Doctors Forcing Patients to Use Them

Let's get the record straight about this money maker!

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - urine I was outraged to read in the New York Times (Aug 2 2013) “A Boom in Drug Testing” with pain doctors especially requiring patients to do urine screening to monitor which drugs patients are taking and which drugs they were NOT TAKING.

They want patients to take the hated anti-depressants and prescribed morphine-like drugs such as Oxycontin. There are probably a few more hated, zombifying drugs, but most readers know what I’m talking about.
