13-Year Old Silverton Boy Shot in Neck While Hunting

In spite of the gunshot wound, the boys then walked approximately 1/2 mile to the victims house.

(SILVERTON, Ore.) - Shooting investigation A Silverton teen will recover after being shot in the neck during a hunting accident today at 5:30 p.m.

Lt. Sheila Lorance with the Marion County Sheriff's Office says one boy shot the other accidentally in the 7500 block of Meridian Road in Mt. Angel.

Armed Barricaded Suspect Keeps Salem SWAT Team and Keizer Police at Bay for Hours

26-year old John Nathan White was arrested for Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and 3 counts of Reckless Endangering. His total bail amount was $25,000.

(KEIZER, Ore.) - 26-year old John Nathan White Police responded to the report of several gunshots being fired in an apartment on Lockhaven Drive Northeast last night around 10:22 p.m.

Officers learned shots went through a neighboring apartment wall where the three victims were sleeping.

Yamhill Man Shot by His Son In Early Morning Altercation

Yamhill County Sheriff Jack Crabtree said his deputies were called to the home at 1:01 a.m. by Tyler Huwaldt, who told them that he had just shot his dad.

(YAMHILL, Ore.) - Shooting investigation A 57-year old Yamhill man was injured early this morning when he was shot in the leg by his 23-year old son.

Captain Ken Summers with the Yamhill County Sheriff's Office, says John Wallace Huwaldt of NW Westside Road received superficial wounds when his son, 23-year old Tyler Carson Huwaldt, who resdies at the same address, fired a 22 caliber rifle during a 12:30 a.m. altercation in their home.

The accounts of the Palestinian demonstrators who have been wounded by Israeli fire in recent weeks are raising the legacy of the first Palestinian Intifada, when Israeli then-defense minister Yitzak Rabin ordered his soldiers to “break the bones” of young protesters.

Albany Police: Armed Robbery Suspect Shot by Detective

The suspect was released from the hospital on Thursday, and lodged in the Linn County Jail on numerous charges.

(ALBANY, Ore.) - Police Shooting An Albany Police Detective shot and wounded 22-year old Linn County resident Brandon Lee Maxfield Wednesday at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Albany Police Captain Eric Carter, says Maxfield was wanted in connection with at least three armed business robberies in Albany since the beginning of 2009.

Josephine County Man Arrested Following Standoff and Shots Fired at OSP SWAT Team‏

(GRANTS PASS, Ore.) - A Josephine County-area man was arrested on multiple charges Friday morning related to an investigation initiated by the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement team.

The arrest followed a brief standoff with the Oregon State Police SWAT team during which the man fired in the direction of SWAT members who responded with chemical munitions and subsequently deployed the use of a taser to arrest the armed man.

Nationwide Warrant Issued for Suspect in Shooting with Lane County Deputies

Man involved in shooting with Lane County Sheriff deputies fails to appear in Court; nationwide warrant issued for arrest

(EUGENE, Ore.) - Oregon suspects Nathan Miles Dix and Annie Jo Welch A Eugene-area man previously arrested for Attempted Murder over a September 2008 incident in which he reportedly shot at Lane County sheriff deputies. He reportedly failed to appear last week in Lane County Circuit Court and is now wanted.

Neither the suspect, nor his girlfriend who is also wanted on a misdemeanor warrant, has been seen since December 24th. Police and the Lane County District Attorney's Office are asking for the public's help to find them.

31-year old Nathan Miles Dix of Springfield, was arrested by Oregon State Police detectives November 17th related to an arrest warrant issued following an indictment by a Lane County Grand Jury on two counts of Attempted Murder and one count of Unlawful Use of a Weapon Against a Person.

Officer Involved Shooting Investigation‏ Under Investigation

The Major Crimes Team comprised of detectives from law enforcement agencies within Multnomah County has been assigned to investigate. The Gresham Motor Officer was not injured in this incident.

(GRESHAM, Ore.) - Police shooting A police officer in Gresham was involved in a shooting Thursday evening, after he said a driver he was pursuing on his police motorcycle, drove his vehicle straight toward him.

Gresham Police say it began at 5:13 Thursday evening when a Gresham Police Motor Traffic Officer became involved in a pursuit of a vehicle that was driving recklessly near NE 162nd Ave and NE Holladay Street.

The pursuit traveled through the neighborhood until the suspect vehicle, a Red Toyota Tercel with Washington license plates, reportedly slid to a stop at the intersection of NE 166th and NE Wasco Street.

Police Investigate Shooting at NE 162nd and NE Glisan

Gresham detectives were called to the scene and this remains an on-going investigation.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Shooting investigation Gresham Police were called to the Tortilleria Y Tienda De Leon's store located at 16225 NE Glisan today at 12:29 PM, over a report of a Hispanic male who had walked in with gun shot wounds.

Responding Officers found a man in his mid thirties, lying of the floor with one gun shot wound each to his right hand and right leg.

Police say that due to a language barrier and conflicting witness accounts, few facts or specific details are known at this time. The incident is believed to have occurred in the parking lot east of Tortilleria Y Tienda De Leon's.

(TILLAMOOK, Ore.) - Duck hunting boat with shotgun blast in Tillamook Bay, Oregon Police say a Tillamook-area man was injured Saturday morning while duck hunting when his shotgun discharged after it may have been contacted by his dog and struck him in the leg as he was outside his boat.
