A Devastating War Between Israel & Hezbollah is on the Horizon

A report said that 60% of the Israeli air force has already been put on full alert.

(JERUSALEM) - Salem-News.com While the war of words is escalating around the clock between Israel on the one side and Hezbollah and Syria on the other, analysts in the Middle East and Europe strongly believe that war is inevitable and will break out within a few months.

In this scary context, senior Lebanese sources told the Saudi daily Al-Okaz that Hezbollah has announced emergency readiness in all areas of the country where it operates.

Militants in Lebanon Blaze Rockets Into Israel

The attacks come a day after Hezbollah leader Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah delivered a fiery speech in Beirut in which he warned Israel not to attack Lebanon.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Salem-News.com As many sources predicted, Israel’s conflict with Hamas in Gaza broadened Thursday as at least three rockets were fired into the north of Israel from Lebanon. It isn't clear who was behind the attacks.

David Hartwell, IHS Jane’s Middle East Analyst commented, “The rockets, said by media reports to be Katyusha variants, landed in the vicinity of Nahariyya, an Israeli town eight km from the border with Lebanon. Israeli forces in the area, which have been on high alert since the start of military operations in Gaza, returned mortar fire in response to the attack, which caused only minor casualties.”

Security sources in Lebanon told reporters that the rockets probably were not fired under instructions from the militant group Hezbollah. The group has neither confirmed or denied responsibility for the attacks.

Lebanon Woman Arrested for Animal Neglect

Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller reports that a Lebanon woman has been arrested for multiple counts of animal neglect.

(ALBANY) - A Lebanon woman faces 19 counts of animal neglect stemming from an investigation on her property at 39627 Mount Hope Road in Lebanon.

46-year old Cheryl Ann Hainz-Justice was arrested and taken to the Linn County Jail for 19 counts of Animal Neglect I.

Hainz-Justice was arrested by deputies who began their investigation after a report was turned into the Sheriff's Office on January 27th...
