Evergreen College Students Vote to Divest

(SHATILA CAMP, Beirut) - 22 May 2010—On this warm Saturday afternoon inside Beirut’s Shatila Camp, hundreds of Palestinians gathered at the Palestinian Youth Center to observe the annual commemorations of the 1948 Nakba or disaster, that forced hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homeland.

That number includes around 120,000 who found refuge in what were originally intended to be temporary camps in Lebanon.

A group in Israel is exposing members of its government charged with war crimes.

(JERUSALEM / SALEM) - Israeli wanted posters for war crimes By now many already know that a series of wanted posters have been issued to help identify and possibly some day bring to justice, a number of Israeli officials who are suspected of acts of genocide and illegal warfare.

The posters were created and posted by an Israeli human rights group that is maintaining a great deal of anonymity at this point.

A Letter to Janet About the Sabra-Shatila Massacre

Remembering a Martyr for Palestinian Refugees.

(BEIRUT, Lebanon) - Janet Lee Stevens was born in 1951 and died on April 18, 1983, at the age of 32, at the instant of the explosion which destroyed the American Embassy in Beirut. Dr. Franklin Lamb is an American who has dedicated the best years of his life and more to the service of Palestinian Refugee Camps in Lebanon.

This is a letter to his wife Janet on the anniversary of the Sabra & Shatila Massacre, on Sept. 14, 2007.
