Two Bodies Recovered from River at Lake Oswego

Police are reviewing missing person reports and prior marine incidents that may speed the identification process.

(LAKE OSWEGO, Ore.) - Clackamas Marine Patrol Divers were called out to a report of a body floating in the Willamette River at Lake Oswego around 8:30 this morning.

Clackamas County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Jim Strovink says the discovery was made in the area of 17100 SW Old River Road, in Lake Oswego. They soon learned there was a second body in the area.

Lake Oswego Police Seek Whereabouts of Missing Man

Anyone with information is asked to call Lake Oswego Police.

(Lake Oswego, Ore.) - Michael Kennedy is missing from the Lake Oswego area Police say they are looking for 53-year old Michael David Kennedy, a Lake Oswego Chiropractor missing since June 21st.

He was last seen at his residence the evening of June 20th. Police say his vehicle, keys, wallet, and cell phone are accounted for.

Swimming Coach Cleared on Sex Abuse Charges in Lake Oswego

A jury found swim coach Don King not guilty of sexual abuse of girls on his Lake Oswego High School team.

(LAKE OSWEGO, Ore.) - 65-year old Donald John King of Lake Oswego has been charged with sex abuse The owner of King Swimming of Lake Oswego who was arrested on numerous charges relating to sex abuse has been cleared by a jury in Linn County. The business owned by 65-year old Donald John King coaches young swimmers.

Lake Oswego Police say the investigation began in Albany when people contacted an off-duty Albany Police detective at a swim meet over concerns related to Mr. King's alleged touching of children.

Oregon Man Faces 85 Counts of Recklessly Endangering Apartment Residents in Lake Oswego

According to police and fire department investigators, Weaver reported to apartment managers that the system had been repaired and was functioning properly, when in fact he is alleged to have known that the smoke alarms were not working.

(LAKE OSWEGO, Ore.) - Fire alarm art Lake Oswego police have charged Eric Eugene Weaver, an employee of Fire Extinguisher Service Center in Beaverton, with 85 counts of Recklessly Endangering Another Person, a Class "A" Misdemeanor.

In January of this year, the Parkridge Apartments management group hired Fire Extinguisher Service Center to repair the fire alarm system in one of the apartment buildings, at 215 Greenridge Drive in Lake Oswego.

Lake Oswego Police Seek Assault Suspect

The situation involved the assault on a female in the office building lobby at 5800 Meadows Road in Lake Oswego on April 16th.

(Lake Oswego, Ore.) - Oregon assault suspect Lake Oswego Police are looking for a suspect that is alleged to have inappropriately grabbed a female victim from behind on the afternoon of April 16th.

This occurred in the elevator lobby on the first floor of an office building at 5800 Meadows Road in Lake Oswego.

Captain Don Forman with Lake Oswego Police, says he victim had been waiting for the elevator when the door opened, the suspect exited, and the contact occurred.
