Lake Oswego Swim Coach Found Not Guilty on Sex Abuse Charges

A Linn County jury says not guilty to all six sex abuse counts against the Lake Oswego man.

(ALBANY, Ore.) - Not Guilty art Lake Oswego swim coach Don King has been found not guilty of sexual abuse charges related to his alleged touching of girls on his Lake Oswego High School team.

All six counts against Mr. King were dropped when the Linn County jury returned their not guilty verdicts Thursday. George Eder, a deputy district attorney in Linn County, reportedly said, "The evidence was squarely presented to the jury."

Arrest Made in Sex Abuse Investigation at Day Care Facility

The suspect was arrested for first-degree Rape, first-degree Sodomy and first-degree Sex Abuse.

(BEAVERTON, Ore.) - 22-year old Vladysav Detectives with the Beaverton Police Department arrested twenty-year old Vladysav "Lodick" Volynets-Vasylchenko of Tualatin Thursday in regard to a sex abuse investigation at a private daycare facility in Beaverton.

Sgt. Paul Wandell says the investigation was initiated on February 10th when the mother of an eight-year old female victim informed detectives her daughter had been sexually abused by Volynets-Vasylchenko.

Oregon AG files agreement with Lake Oswego financial advisor for illegally advising elderly vets and widows in nursing homes for a fee.

(SALDM, Ore.) - old man with dog Elderly veterans and their widows, Americans all too frequently taken advantage of, have one less problem in Oregon to deal with today. A Lake Oswego financial advisor accused of illegally taking fees to give advice to aging veterans and their widows has been stopped in his tracks by the Oregon Attorney General's Office.

While he doesn't admit to violating any laws, Robert F. Skinner, also known as Toby Skinner, owner of Toby Skinner & Associates, LLC, of Lake Oswego, has terminated a part of his business focused on advising elderly veterans and widows without being certified to do so and illegally charging for the advice.

Two Bodies Found in Willamette River Positively Identified

The bodies are from separate fatal boating incidents.

(LAKE OSWEGO, Ore.) - Willamette River in Lake Oswego Divers in Clackamas County were called out to a report of two bodies floating in the Willamette River at Lake Oswego around 8:30 Tuesday morning.

The first body found yesterday in the river off of Old River Road in Lake Oswego has been positively identified by the Clackamas County Medical Examiners Office as being that of 53-year old Michael David Kennedy.
