OSP Detectives Continue Searching for Possible Pedestrian Victim East of Klamath Falls

Witnesses say the woman was hit by a car, then loaded inside along with debris that fell from the crash.

(KLAMATH FALLS) - Oregon State Police investigators are continuing to ask for
information related to a report late Tuesday night that an injured female was seen being placed in an unknown white passenger car along Highway 140E near Beatty about 50 miles east of Klamath Falls.

Troopers and detectives who responded to the scene located evidence, including human blood, but has not been able to locate a possible victim to determine her condition and if a crime has been committed.

Injured Woman May Have Been Removed From Scene of Pedestrian Crash

Police say a couple was witnessed removing debris from the roadway and placing the injured woman in the back seat, but nobody has seen her since.

(KLAMATH FALLS) - Highway 140 East near Beatty, Oregon from Google Map Oregon State Police investigators are seeking information related to a report late Tuesday night that an injured female was seen being placed in an unknown white passenger car along Highway 140E near Beatty about 50 miles east of Klamath Falls.

Troopers and detectives who responded to the scene located evidence, including human blood, but has not been able to locate a possible victim to determine her condition and if a crime has been committed.


It happened around 10:20 PM. Oregon State Police responded to a report of a loud noise, similar to someone being hit by a vehicle, on Highway 140E near milepost 40.
