(TEHRAN / MOSCOW) - Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin last week, welcomed further expansion of “bilateral, regional and international” cooperation between Tehran and Moscow.

He praised Moscow’s influential role in regional issues, particularly with regard to the issue of Syria.
