Otter Rock n Roll began 4 years ago in celebration of International Surfing Day.

(NEWPORT, OR) - Kids at Otter Rock surf contest The Surfrider Foundation will host the 4th annual Otter Rock n’ Roll Youth Surf and Beach Cleanup Challenge in celebration of International Surfing Day.

Observed globally, International Surfing Day celebrates the sport of surfing and helps raise awareness about issues facing our oceans, waves and beaches.

Oregon's event, claimed to be first time in Portland and described as “divine opportunity”, will be performed in a special mandap ordered from India.

(RENO, NV.) - Lord Sri Venkateswara and Goddess Padmavathi Hindu gods will reportedly be getting married in the coming weeks in grand ceremonies in Arizona, Wisconsin, Oregon and Washington states of USA.

In a statement in Nevada today, Hindu statesman Rajan Zed, applauded efforts of India’s Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams and temple communities in USA to organize this ancient ceremony.

A tectonic shift in what America will become is something that the next generation must deal with.

(CALGARY, Alberta) - Salem-News.com The United States as we know it is irrevocably changing. The Census Bureau reports that, for the first time, the percentage of whites born in the country has fallen below 50% (49.6 percent of all births in the 12-month period that ended last July). Babies born to Hispanics, blacks and those of mixed race were at 50.4%.

This is a trend. Whites are no longer in the majority in four states and the District of Columbia. They have slipped below half in many major metro areas.

(NEW DELHI / PORTLAND) - Image of Goddess Kali “Kali-Ma” beer, earlier scheduled to be launched today by a Portland brewery but then cancelled after Hindu protest, was reportedly raised in the upper house of India’s Parliament on May 15 with demand of immediate summoning of US ambassador.

According to reports, it was stated in Rajya Sabha in India’s capital New Delhi on this issue that the religious feelings of Hindus were being hurt.
