Canada has no colonial history -Prime Minister Stephen Harper
(DAYTONA BEACH, FL) -
The 18th Century history of Canada is divided into three brief periods of peace, following three treaties – the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713, the Treaty of Aix-la-Chapelle in 1748 and the Treaty of Paris in 1763.
Except for the Treaties, it was pretty well a continuous war, whenever the English and French weren't resting or doing wars in Europe.

Humans will eat other humans. Cannibalism was practiced as a matter of culture in some jungle tribes, and as a matter of necessity at other times.
(PORTLAND, OR) -
How do you feel about yourself? Do you think you are smarter, better looking, more successful, all in all a superior person compared to, say your neighbor, your brother-in-law, your boss?
Do you look at the collective humanity as lesser persons? Do you think that if they were only as smart as you they wouldn't be on the welfare rolls? Feeling superior to others is called Hubris.
Is Pakistan's ISI supplying the rumor mill with bad information?
(ISLAMABAD, Pakistan) -
Sparks are flying in Pakistan over an alleged affair between Foreign Minister Nina Rabbani Khar, and Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the scion of the country’s most powerful dynasty.
Articles about the alleged affair have fueled feverish speculation and outrage in Pakistan since they were reported in a Bangladeshi tabloid earlier this week.
