Update: Amber Alert Vehicle Found

Oregon's Amber Alert Will Stay in Effect

(SALEM) - suspect James DiMaggio, age 40 San Diego County, California Sheriff's Department announced Friday morning that the dark blue 2013 Nissan Versa sought related to a multi-state AMBER Alert for a suspect and two missing children was found abandoned in a remote area of Valley County, Idaho.

The suspect and two missing children are still unaccounted for. Oregon's AMBER Alert will remain in effect at this time.
At this time, the location of Hannah Anderson, age 16; Ethan Anderson, age 8; and, suspect James DiMaggio, age 40, is not known.

NBA Player Stomps Homeless Man

Jones yelled, 'Wake up,' and Stomped on the Mans Leg

(PORTLAND OR) - Police arrested 21-year-old Terrence Alexander Jones in Old Town early this morning.

Jones was seen stomping on a sleeping homeless man's leg at about 2:04 AM in Portland's Central precinct.

After the arrest, officers learned that Jones is currently on the roster of the Houston Rockets NBA team.

Candlelight Vigil Seeks Justice for Death of Aniya Zamora

The community gathered to support the investigation of this tragedy.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Aniya Zamora About seventy-five people came together on the Marion County courthouse steps Tuesday night, seeking justice for a little girl whose life was cut short. The 3 ½ year old girl was found dead in her home on April 19, 2013.

The candlelight vigil for Aniya Zamora gave the group the chance to pray, and share their thoughts, giving comfort to the grieving and showing support for the quest to learn the truth.

(CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va) - Death Penalty Most of the world's governments no longer use the death penalty. Among wealthy nations there is one exception remaining. The United States is among the top five killers in the world. Also in the top five: the recently "liberated" Iraq.

But most of the United States' 50 states no longer use the death penalty.

Tow Company Offers Reward After Their Driver is Injured in Hit and Run

$1000 Reward has been offered for the "Arrest and Conviction" of the responsible party.

(SALEM) - move over law There was a Hit & Run accident on Mission Street Sunday evening, where a tow truck driver who was loading a vehicle to be towed was struck by a passing vehicle, which then fled the area.

The driver for Affordable Towing, was wearing his orange safety vest and had all emergency lights activated when the accident occurred.

Salem Woman Arrested In Connection With Weekend Robberies

Three Salem convenience stores were robbed Sunday morning between 5:40 AM and 6:50 AM.

(SALEM) - 48-year old Robin Templeton Salem Police stopped a van Monday which they say was used in an early Saturday morning string of robberies.

The driver, Robin Templeton, was arrested on two counts of Robbery II. Police are still seeking a second woman, 24 year old Roberta Hudson.

8 Year Old California Girl Stabbed to Death by Intruder

Police have no suspect leads at this point and are asking the public in to use great caution.

(VALLEY SPRINGS, CA) - 8 year old Leila Fowler 8 year old Leila Fowler was found by her 12 year old brother Saturday after she had been stabbed to death in their family home in Valley Springs, California. He encountered a male intruder in the home. at which point the man fled.

Leila was pronounced dead at a local hospital, according to officials.
