Oregon State Men’s Soccer Drops Final Home Match To Huskies

(Corvallis, Oregon) - Beavers logo The Oregon State men’s soccer team lost, 1-0, in its final home match against Washington Friday evening at Paul Lorenz Field.

The Beavers (6-11-0, 1-9-0 Pacific-10 Conference) had nine shots in the match with six of those on goal and had a strong performance from goalkeeper Steve Spangler who finished with four saves.

Beaver Volleyball Starts Strong But Stopped by No. 23 Ducks

(Corvallis, Oregon) - Beavers logo The Oregon State volleyball team (8-20, 1-13) started strong, taking the first set, but it was stopped in four by the No. 23 Oregon Ducks (18-8, 6-8) on Friday evening in front 3,287, the third largest crowd in school history.

Richardson Gets a Hat Trick, Beavers Advance with 5-0 Win over Memphis

(STILLWATER, Okla) - Beavers logo Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, Jenna Richardson recorded her first career hat trick as the No. 15 Oregon State women’s soccer team defeated Memphis, 5-0, in the first round of the NCAA tournament Friday night. Two Golfers Sign NLI To Join Oregon State Men’s Golf Program

(Corvallis, Oregon) - Beavers logo Brian Jung and Scott Kim have signed National Letters of Intent to join the Oregon State men’s golf team, head coach Jon Reehoorn announced Thursday.

Jung is from Coquitlam, British Columbia and attends Gleneagle Secondary School where he was the No. 2 ranked junior in British Columbia and the No. 11 ranked junior in Canada. Kim attends Hanford High School in Richland, Wash., and was named the Tri City Herald All Area Most Valuable Player last season.

Oregon State women’s Cross Country to Compete at NCAA West Regional this Weekend

(Corvallis, Oregon) - Beavers logo The Oregon State women’s cross country team travels this Saturday to the NCAA West Regional hosted by the University of Oregon at the Springfield Country Club in Eugene, Ore. The women’s 6,000 meter race is set for 9:45 a.m. PT.

“We want to finish the cross country season on a high note,” Oregon State cross country and track head coach Kelly Sullivan said. “We have been able to do that in recent years. Usually we do fairly well at the NCAA West Regional. It’s the strongest region in the country so it is fun to match up with that level of competition. We’ve finished ninth the past couple of years.”
