`Thou Shall Not Circumcise`
By Michel Hervé Navoiseau-Bertaux Salem-News.com
A Three-Millennial Falsification (*): The 2nd Commandment forbids Sexual Mutilation.
(PARIS, France) -
John the Baptist and Jesus gave their lives for baptism by water rather than by the trauma of the “original” punishment, conceived to prevent any further “sin”.
Numerous attempts of abolishing circumcision occurred, sometimes quelled by blood (Machabees). The most elaborated one was that of German Reform rabbis, in the middle of the 19th century, for socio-political and juridical reasons: the segregationist and criminal custom isolates the Jews.

New Evidence in Botched Houston Castration Trial
Michel Hervé Navoiseau-Bertaux for Salem-News.com
Mrs. Nadal was insane, not guilty of extraordinary hateful vengeance.
(PARIS, France) -
New evidence is developing in the Houston castration case, via the Facebook page of Mrs. Jennifer Coias, in an entry dated August 18, 2009.
Five weeks after the birth of the baby boy, Katherine Nadal was down in deep post-partum depression, a fact attested by her taking strong pain-killers (methadone notably, which is supposed to prevent from addiction) rather than being “high on drugs”, as unjustly reproached.

Vainglorious: The Munchausen Complex
By Richard L. Matteoli for Salem-News.com
Munchausen Syndrome in Collective Transmission extends Transgenerational abuses into a community, society, or culture.
(SAN ANDREAS, Calif.) -
This report extends Munchausen Syndrome and Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy when harmful behaviors become part of the social fabric.
As socialized beings, we are usually unaware why we think what we think and why we do what we do. Exploring beneath the surface, we may discover we are not who we imagine we are. Are our subtle perversions and aberrations so different from those of the ancients, or other cultures we label primitive? Inferring atrocity to others is easier. By pointing fingers, we don’t have to look at ourselves.

Is Circumcision Another Form of Genital Mutilation?
Tim King Salem-News.com
Legislation could change the future of American males.
(SAN DIEGO, Calif.) -
Circumcision is flying to the front of medical and political arguments as Americans face the idea that we as a society may be gravely in error in our choice to allow doctors to complete circumcisions of young boys, particularly those just born which is the common approach in most cases.
Experts on both sides of the argument are esteemed researchers, but a closer look at what circumcision really brings us; campaigns for Viagra and a lack of sexual satisfaction in men, shows that it may be among our worst and most cruel cultural practices.

Oregon Courts Have No Right to Force Circumcision
Commentary by Van Lewis Special to Salem-News.com
What would the Oregon Supreme Court say to any adult who wanted to cut out any child's healthy eyes, inner ears, or tongue?
(PANACEA, Florida) -
I was extremely distressed to read a quote in a recent AP article by William McCall attributed to Oregon Supreme Court Justice W. Michael Gillette. It says he asked in a hearing, concerning the partial genital amputation desired by a boy's father for his twelve-year-old son, "what would happen if the noncustodial parent of a child objected to allowing participation in a risky sport, such as football", and then that he gave his own preposterous answer:
"'The answer to that is that's preposterous,' Gillette said. 'In fact more people get hurt playing football than from having a circumcision - a lot more, and a lot more seriously.'"
