New Evidence in Botched Houston Castration Trial

Mrs. Nadal was insane, not guilty of extraordinary hateful vengeance.

(PARIS, France) - New evidence is developing in the Houston castration case, via the Facebook page of Mrs. Jennifer Coias, in an entry dated August 18, 2009.

Five weeks after the birth of the baby boy, Katherine Nadal was down in deep post-partum depression, a fact attested by her taking strong pain-killers (methadone notably, which is supposed to prevent from addiction) rather than being “high on drugs”, as unjustly reproached.

Mrs Nadal has been condemned on a highly unbelievable and unproven assumption that she would have castrated her child, which she has constantly denied. She logically “showed no remorse at the 99 year sentence” as a prosecution-minded journalist emphasized, insinuating she would be a monster.

Nevertheless, since no blood or ADN was found on either sharp instruments in the house or the dachshund, this pure hypothesis is doubtful. There was no blood on the keen-teeth hunter simply because it had greedily licked his chops and paws.

Anyway, in this extreme supposition, Mrs. Nadal was insane, not guilty of extraordinary hateful vengeance against her husband with whom, besides, she had a mere argument, not a knife fight.

It appeared at the sentencing, that hatred in the couple did not come from Mrs Nadal but from her high on hatred companion who, as she shouted: “I didn’t hurt him.”, screamed at her in response: “You abused him while he was still in the womb!” (see: newser.com/tag/687/1/texas.html).

Another example of manly hatred in this trial came from the prosecution:

“At closing arguments, the district attorney showed a picture of the smiling child and told the jury, "This kid has so many problems coming toward him in the future. She took his identity, folks. But we have learned that, in the ambulance to the hospital, her only concern was the future of her baby:

But prosecutor Oncken insidiously meant that Mrs Nadal only wanted to be free as soon as possible.

America is decidedly mad over circumcision: yet how can a state court of justice condemn first without proof and second, judge an obviously insane person without psychiatric expertise?

This can only be due to deep post circumcision traumatic disorder, unconsciously affecting women as well as men.

It is high time to outlaw circumcision.

While I would be the first to agree that circumcision should be outlawed, it sounds to me like the writer is finding anything he can to absolve this woman of any wrong doing. Gotta wonder: if the genders were reversed, would he do the same thing?

About the circumcision past traumatic stress disorder, I mean that affecting the whole court: judges, jury, public attorney, and the general public, the whole USA.

Countries concerned by the rights of the human person may not indulge in the barbarous violation of the rights of minors that is exerted by the sexual mutilation of whatever sex.

Whew, I am so glad not to be the only one scratching my head at this article and finding fault with S-n.com's approach to reporting.

This is the most ridiculous argument I think I have ever read in my life. How could you surmise that this woman committed this heinous act due to "deep post circumcision traumatic disorder?" If such a thing did in fact exist I don’t see how it applies here as there was no circumcision, therefore no traumatic disorder for her to overcome. You clearly have some sort of agenda here concerning the effects of post traumatic stress disorder and are failingly trying to weave it into this case. PTSD is a serious condition afflicting many people but you are not furthering your cause by applying it to this sick, drug addled woman.

You know what would be next? Abortion would be outlawed. Removing a little excess skin is not murder or anything...goodness. Castration on the other hand is very unacceptable.

I usually come here to read these stories from a more open point of view...but this reads like Geraldo now. It pisses me off. "Circumcision Madness Traumatic Disorder?" This is ridiculous! I thought you were journalists? Seems more like an opinion being exercised at this baby's expense. Sham shame
