Drowning Victim Found in Calapooia River

no one witnessed the drowning but based on evidence at the scene, investigators believe that sometime Sunday Mr. Marsh slipped from the bank into the extremely cold water and was unable to get back out.

Police Say Road Rage Suspect `Sicced` Pit Bull on Victim

Police say one man followed another for 30 minutes before first trying to get his dog to attack the man, and then punching him after the dog ran away.

(ALBANY, Ore.) - Photo of pit bull used in alleged road rage incident An Oregon State Police (OSP) trooper and Linn County deputy were involved in an unusual "road rage" investigation Sunday afternoon involving two men and a pit bull on Interstate 5 south of Albany.

The suspect and his dog were located by the deputy about 16 miles south of the alleged incident location, and the suspect was subsequently cited to appear on a charge of Harassment.

Albany Police: Armed Robbery Suspect Shot by Detective

The suspect was released from the hospital on Thursday, and lodged in the Linn County Jail on numerous charges.

(ALBANY, Ore.) - Police Shooting An Albany Police Detective shot and wounded 22-year old Linn County resident Brandon Lee Maxfield Wednesday at approximately 12:30 p.m.

Albany Police Captain Eric Carter, says Maxfield was wanted in connection with at least three armed business robberies in Albany since the beginning of 2009.
