(RENO, Nevada) - Lonnie Lechelt drove in a career-high five runs and Jordan Lennerton set a career-best with four hits, finishing a single short of the cycle, as the 22nd-ranked Oregon State baseball team defeated Nevada, 17-10, Saturday afternoon in the second game of a three-game series at Peccole Park.
Josh Keller picked up the win in relief and improved to 2-0 this season. He worked three innings, striking out one and walking one.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - In her first at bat of the season, second career at bat, redshirt freshman Stefanie Draper hit the walk-off RBI single as the Oregon State softball team defeated Utah State 11-3 in six innings in the team’s final game of the Cascade Clash.
Oregon State (18-13) posted 13 hits, led by sophomore Alana Ford’s 3-for-3 performance, adding a pair of runs and RBI.

Oregon (21-11) scored three runs in the third, one in the fourth and two more via solo homers in the fifth to raise its record to 4-0 in the Cascade Clash tournament.

(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Oregon State University senior football student-athlete Sammie Stroughter has been granted a medical hardship year for 2007 and will be eligible for the 2008 season, the Pac-10 Conference announced Friday.
The addition of Stroughter immediately bolsters the Beaver receiving corps which includes returning lettermen James Rodgers, Darrell Catchings, Chris Johnson, Shane Morales, Casey Kjos and Taylor Kavanaugh.

In the opener, Spicer led the Warriors' offense with a 2-for-4 performance before Flux was the offensive leader for Corban in the night cap with a 2-for-3 showing at the plate.

The Awesome 3000 is one of the largest youth runs in the nation. Nearly 3000 students run a variety of courses from 300 to 3000 meters, cheered on by over 300 volunteers.

(FRESNO, Calif.) - Portland lost for just the second time in the past eight games as the New Mexico State Aggies handed the Pilots a 10-1 defeat on the fourth day of the Pepsi/Johnny Quick Classic at Beiden Field on Thursday.
The Pilots are now 2-2 at the Fresno State tournament and are 12-6 overall. The Aggies are also 2-2 in Fresno and improve to 7-5 on the season.
