The best-of-seven first-round series between the two teams is now tied at 1-1. Richard Hamilton scored a game-high 20 points while three Pistons chipped in with 16 apiece: Tayshaun Prince, Rasheed Wallace and Antonio McDyess.

(LAWRENCE, Kan.) - University of Kansas men's basketball junior Mario Chalmers officially declared for the NBA draft Wednesday afternoon, but will not hire an agent.
Chalmers, who hit the game-tying three-pointer to send the 2008 national championship game into overtime and was named the Final Four Most Outstanding Performer, can return to Kansas next season if he takes his name out of the draft.

(AUSTIN, Texas ) - University of Texas sophomore point guard D.J. Augustin intends to declare himself eligible for the 2008 NBA Draft, he announced today.
In 73 career games, Augustin averaged 16.9 points and 6.2 assists per contest. He ranks fifth on the school's career assists list, fourth in three-point percentage, ninth in free throw percentage and 18th in scoring.
