(PORTLAND, Ore. ) - University of Portland women’s soccer player Michelle Enyeart and cross country standout John Moore earned West Coast Conference September Player of the Month honors for their respective sports, the league announced on Thursday.
Enyeart, a sophomore forward from Hemet, Calif., led the injury-riddled Pilots to a 7-3-0 record in September and is the national leader with 10 assists. Moore, an All-American in both cross country and track & field, got off to a fast start in September by posting the top time of any WCC runner in an 8,000-meter event.
