(CORVALLIS, Ore. ) - Sophomore Rachel Rourke had a team-high 15 kills, but the Beavers (9-12, 2-7 Pac-10) dropped a three-game match (23-30, 21-30, 20-30) to the No. 19 Oregon Ducks (15-6, 4-5 Pac-10) in the Civil War.
The Beavers got off to a slow start in game one letting the Ducks gain a 5-0 lead. Oregon State tied things up at 13-13 on Rourke’s fourth kill of the game and again at 14 all, but the Beavers were unable to take control of the game and capitalize on the Ducks’ six serving errors.
