Bourdais Makes History With 4th Straight Champ Car Title

The race started off well for Bourdais who moved up one position from his fourth place on the grid when Paul Tracy and Oriol Servia touched, sending Tracy spinning.

(SURFERS PARADISE, Australia) - Sebastien BourdaisSebastien Bourdais solidified his legendary status as a Champ Car World Series driver by locking up his fourth consecutive Series title with an impressive victory Down Under at the Lexmark Indy 300.

The Frenchmen, who is set to depart Champ Car to pursue a career in Formula One next season, will have left his name in many places in the record book. With his 30th career victory, he became the first driver in history to win four consecutive Champ Car World Series titles.

Wolves Defense Comes Up Big in Win Over Southern Oregon

WOU senior cornerback Nick Smith had two picks on the day, returning one 18 yards for touchdown.

(MONMOUTH, Ore. ) - Nick SmithMark Thorson threw three touchdown passes and Western Oregon's defense intercepted four Southern Oregon tosses as the Wolves won their 2007 Homecoming game at McArthur Field on Saturday afternoon, 37-13.

Thorson threw touchdown passes to Cory Dickson (15 yards), Shaun Kauleinamoku (33 yards) and to Sean Fullerton (8 yards). The senior quarterback was 16 of 29 on the day for 253 yards with no interceptions.

No. 7 Oregon Runs All Over Huskies for 55-34 Win

Washington redshirt freshman quarterback Jake Locker had the best yards passing night of his young career, throwing for 257 and four scores.

(SEATTLE) - Jonathon StewartJonathan Stewart ran for a career-high 251 yards and two touchdowns, Andre Crenshaw added 113 yards and two second-half scores, and No. 7 Oregon pulled away late for a 55-34 win over Washington.

The Ducks finished with a school-record 465 rushing yards and 661 total yards. The final numbers even staggered some of Oregon's offensive linemen, who bullied Washington's defense.

No. 15 Kansas Holds Off Colorado to Stay Undefeated

Reesing engineered four scoring drives as Kansas improved its 2007 undefeated season to 7-0 (3-0 in Big 12 play).

It marks the first time since 1995 that KU opened the year 7-0 and the Jayhawks' first win at Folsom Field since the same 1995 season.

WU's defense allowed just 41 rushing yards by the Oaks, who also struggled through the air, gaining just 20 yards passing.

Willamette quarterback Ryan Whitcomb ran for 109 yards and Skylar Swinford scored two touchdowns. The Bearcats rushed for 389 yards and gained 425 yards of total offense.

Notre Dame can still claim the most-lopsided victory in the history of the series, a 51-0 win over the Trojans in 1966.

Sanchez threw TD passes of 10, 8, 5 and 48 yards and the Trojans won their sixth straight over the Irish, the longest streak for USC against Notre Dame.

Tebow Leads No. 14 Florida Past No. 8 Kentucky

The Gators extended their winning streak over the Wildcats to 21 games and pulled into a three-way tie for the lead in the SEC East.

Sophomore quarterback Tim Tebow accounted for five touchdowns, including a career-high four through the air and rushed for his 10th score of the season in his eighth-consecutive game. Tebow amassed 254 passing yards on 16 completions and added 78 yards on the ground.
