(STANFORD, Calif. ) - No. 19 Oregon rattled Stanford in game two, but the fifth-ranked Cardinal responded and moved past the Ducks in four games (30-24, 27-30, 30-19, 30-17) on Thursday night at Maples Pavilion.
Freshman outside hitter Alix Klineman paced the Cardinal with 16 kills and tallied a career-high six blocks. Foluke Akinradewo turned in 13 kills, hit .667 and matched a season best with eight blocks.

The 27-year-old Hingis, known as the "Swiss Miss", also announced her retirement from tennis for the second time, says she was "shocked and appalled" by the results of test taken after she lost in the third round to Laura Granville 6-4 6-2.

During the fall, the club scrimmaged a majority of days during the fall, including holding the Orange and Black World Series the week leading up to the end of practices. The black and gray squads tied the series, 2-2-1.
