Salem-News.com Returns After Several Hours

Offline for several hours, Salem-News.com is back online.

(SALEM, Ore.) - It has been a long afternoon for our crew, with Salem-News.com experiencing online technical difficulties at the exact point in time that Palestine faces statehood in the United Nations.

Our Web Designer Matt Lintz, says a series of server tests were conducted over a four-hour period Saturday as the site remained offline and while the problem can't be pinpointed, adjustments were made and Salem-News is now expected to remain stable.

We can't connect the dots necessarily, but you have to love the timing. Salem-News.com is one of the few U.S. news agencies that covers news in the Middle east without a large degree of bias toward Israel.

After 63 years, Palestine stands at the crossroads of autonomy and the biggest obstacle that stands in the way, is the United States in its unwavering support of Israel, which maintains apartheid politics - a system of different laws for Muslims and Jews. It is the exact same type of political arrangement that South Africa used to relegate its indigenous Black residents into a category that can legally be discriminated against.

That was a government of pure racial bigotry and segregation that was a favored ally of both the U.K. and U.S. Furthermore, like Hamas and the Tamil Tigers and others, Nelson Mandela and the African National Congress was designated "terrorist" by the governments of Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher.

Be it the United States, United Kingdom, Israel, Sri Lanka, Rwanda or another government that practices Genocide, we will always stand unrelentingly against their practices and we will not apologize or flinch or retreat.

The same holds true for police brutality and government abuse of civil rights, which is a nice term for 'state terrorism'.
