(WINDSOR, N.H.) - On October 6, 2011 something big will happen in Washington, DC.

Over the past several months, a phenomenon called the “Arab Spring” occurred throughout the Middle East. People, ordinary average citizens, determined collectively that there was no longer time for them to wait and see if change, real change, could possibly happen within their respective nations. Change that would positively affect their lives and future generations. Lives that for so many decades have been exploited, abused and driven into silent submission by cruel dictators, military regimes and the influences of the world's richest and most powerful corporations, banks, economic engineers and individuals. This “Arab Spring” saw millions upon millions of the oppressed take their lives into their own, and collective, hands, rise up together and forcibly... yet non-violently.. put a halt to the machines that have been grinding them into worthless dust.

Yes.. some of the halted machines fought back and in the only way they knew how in an effort to hold onto their perceptions of power and control. And yes.. many thousands of these brave ordinary citizens were murdered (and continue to be) or seriously wounded. To date, NONE have surrendered their collective will.

On October 6, 2011 the United States will see if its ordinary average citizens have what it takes to collectively rise up and put a halt to what is unarguably the strongest and most oppressive machine in history... the corrupt and corporate controlled government of the United States.

Ten years after the beginning of two wars brought to the world through introduction of some of the most egregious lies and deceptions, the Anti-War Movement joins hands with many of the other movements for social justice that have long been in existence or recently, as a result of the economic deceptions and lies that have since destroyed the lives and livelihood of millions throughout America (and, through reciprocity and collusion, the world) formed. Collectively, and with the addition of what is hoped to be millions of distraught citizens, the OCTOBER2011 Movement will gather at FREEDOM PLAZA in WASHINGTON, DC and will, through NON-VIOLENT action, shut down the US GOVERNMENT. Like the citizens of the “ARAB SPRING”, the plan is for all to stay in DC until such time as it is clear the machine will act no more against its own citizens.

Tired and angered over a Supreme Court that could, through some twi$ted logic, decree corporations as citizens and at the same time afford them rights either not bestowed upon or since 9-11 taken away from the average citizen; tired and angered about millions of jobs being outsourced by greedy corporations who pay little to no taxes and are, in many cases, subsidized by taxes taken from the average citizen; tired and angered by a President who promised “change we could believe in” yet has done little more than continue and enhance the rights taken away by the last President and lackey Congress and start several more illegal wars based on more lies and deceptions; tired and angered by the pouring of billions of citizens' hard earned dollars into the coffers of the banks and Wall Street money lenders who conned many nations through a calculated Ponzi scheme that fell apart before it was intended and caused the worst economic disaster in history... and not one thin dime being put into the hands of those who suffer the most from this scam; tired and angered by a two-party political system and its candidates and office holders that feed at the same troughs and retire into the same corporations that they legislate for... while legislating against the average citizen; tired and angered by the manipulations creating an abysmal failure of a Health Care Plan for the nation;....tired and angered, the oppressed and abused average citizens will converge on DC and through their bodies and their voices will act as their counterparts throughout the Middle East have done and continue to do... STOP THE MACHINE!!

Citizens of the United States have, more than most, been lulled into non-action in defense of their own rights and interests and have succumbed in large part to the fear mongering and false patriotism force fed through the corporate owned media. In the past decade, small numbers of citizens in pockets throughout the US have attempted to wake up the masses to the erosion of the American Dream. In the past few years, a great many were rudely awakened by the demise of jobs and credit, loss of homes, savings and retirement. In the past year, many have seen the unwillingness of the President and Congress to do anything effective to help the average citizen pull out from the enormous weight of problems created by deregulation, false flag operations leading to illegal wars, powerful lobbyists such as AIPAC, a criminal Supreme Court, and heartless adherents, in office, to the sick rants of sociopaths like Ayn Rand acting to destroy what is left of already beaten unions and undo all of the social safety nets for which so many of our families fought and died.

Will this OCTOBER 6, 2011 effort measure up to the “Arab Spring”? Will Americans stand up and collectively act, through non-violent means, to return control of law and governance to the citizens.. where it rightly belongs? The answers rest in you, the average citizen and whether YOU will rise up, take your friends, your families and associates by the hand and heart and bring them with you to FREEDOM PLAZA OCTOBER 6, 2011 WASHINGTON DC. Prepare them all to stay. This is not a protest where we hold some signs, sing a few songs, listen to a few speakers and then go home and wait for the next rights to be destroyed, the next jobs to be lost, the next foreclosures.. THIS IS A GENUINE OCCUPATION.. A TAKE OVER.. A REVOLUTION.

Edmund Burke wrote: “The true danger is when liberty is nibbled away, for expedients, and by parts. “ We, as a nation, have been silently watching our rights being “nibbled” away under the guise of a deceptively named “Patriot Act”. "When bad men combine, the good must associate; else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle." We have watched the bad men of Wall Street combine with the bad men of DC and one after another, we fall to the criminal enterprises they have enacted in our name. Burke also wrote: “No one could make a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could do only a little.” When did you last write a letter to your representative, attend a town hall meeting, join a protest?

Time is something we no longer have on our side. If we do not act now, and act in a large way, what will we be able to tell our children when they ask us what we did to help save the country when the “bad men” were destroying it? I will be (already have started) telling them I was in DC on OCTOBER 6, 2011(and beyond) collectively attempting to STOP THE MACHINE! ..and because I believe that war is not a solution I pledged to use non-violence http://x6.fs.sl.pt . I will not tell them that I stayed home watching football or even hunting through the corporate news to see what my friends and neighbors were doing in DC. And I will implore my children that no matter the outcome, I will hope they never give up on themselves, their friends and their brothers and sisters all over the world who sought and seek to be free of the tyranny we allowed to happen through our past ignorance, fear inaction.
