(DENVER, Co.) - Occupy Denver reports that at 7:30 p.m. toniht, Denver Riot Police begin to move in and request the remaining protesters clear Civic Center Park. The protesters say they reminded officers that they have until 11:00 p.m. to be there and hold their ground. Protesters chanted a reminder that they are non-violent and request that the DPD remain non-violent as well. They continued to hold their ground as garbage trucks rolled off with the remnants of the camp. One protester is quoted by Occupy Oakland saying, "You can not kill an idea". In spite of objections, and pre-agreed upon rules, police vacated the park area around 8:00 p.m. and by 8:30 p.m., the Occupy Denver kitchen was on the rebuild with a promise of ‘Sloppy Joes’ soon to come... As the news of the police crackdown on the totally non-violent protest grew, donations to re-provision the camp started rolling in. At 9:15 p.m., 3 Night shift police officers reportedly stopped by to state: "They are there to keep the camp safe". All state they were not part of the earlier action by riot police. The new group of officers reiterated that the park has to be vacated by 11:00 p.m. but the sidewalks are good at all times. Thanks for your response. For the purposes of brevity considering the length of the previous submitted list here is a sampling with associated links for your review. The purpose of my earlier comment was pretty straight forward. If you would like a site that has all the links I have that available. Keep in mind it is a site that is essentially providing links to "primary source" reporting organizations including sites like the New York Times. I also showed the Calgary link immediately below. BTW the number #11 shows veterans being dishonored, #3 link below is quite disgusting, and it is becoming a more frequent happening:
"'These people need to leave,' city spokesman says as Occupy Calgary damage passes $40,000 City will foot the bill for damage caused by presence of tents, protesters" Number #95 http://www.canada.com/life/Occupy+Calgary+camp+Olympic+Plaza+causes+damage/5618747/story.html
Number #1 on list: http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2011/10/01/police-arresting-protesters-on-brooklyn-bridge/ /Number #2: http://www.dailycardinal.com/news/occupy-madison-loses-permit-1.2669111#.TqlaNmBuFjY // number #3: http://hotair.com/archives/2011/10/28/flier-at-occupy-
phoenix-asks-when-should-you-shoot-a-cop/ Number #5 http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2046586/Occupy-Wall-Street-Shocking-photos-protester-defecating-POLICE-CAR.html /Number #11 http://patdollard.com/2011/10/occupyportland-protester-defiles-memorial-to-war-dead/
DJ: We need real documentation. You say that #3 is " becoming a more frequent happening".This needs to demonstrated, rather than just asserted. And the Calgary example is still undocumented. The $40,000 figure is still a blue-sky estimate. BTW, I live four blocks from Olympic Plaza where they are occupying, so unless something demonstrable occurs there, you should take it off your list.
If you want to convert your examples into an article, I'll work with you on it. Email me at omnisavant@shaw.ca and we'll go from there.

Salem-news let's be intellectually honest and assess what's going on in a professional manner.
DJ: Okay, Anonymous, we agree with your statement In your full post, you listed 100 items that need to be exposed so the Occupy movement can be, from your point of view, discredited. As a professional media organization, we like to verify. So, we will run your 100 points if you can supply a verifiable link for each one. I note in particular: “95.Calgary, CN: 10/28/2011 — Occupiers do $40,000 in Property Damage”. There is apparently no intentional damage but the figure is just a blue-sky estimate of clean-up costs. How many of your other 99 points are equally unfounded. We at Salem-News would like to know. Add your links and, because your post will be so long, we’ll consider running it as an article. For that, of course, we would also need a verifiable name to run in the byline. We've run several pro-Occupy pieces so, in the interests of balance, here's a chance to present the other side of the story. Over to you.
