(NEWPORT, OR) - The "Sail for Freedom" is a project to provide sail and human rights training for Akha people from SE Asia teamed up with young people from the US.

The tall ship will be based out of Newport, Oregon.

The cost of the ship is $700,000. Refitting will cost $400,000.
