Portland Police Investigate Homicide

Detectives and crime scene investigators are still at the scene of the homicide.

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - Portland Police Homicide Detectives are investigating a homicide at a residence located in the 4100 Block of Southwest Hamilton.

Detective Mary Wheat with the Portland Police Bureau, says detectives have been at the location most of the day, after a 57-year-old woman was found dead in her home.

Wheat says Portland Police Homicide detectives have identified the 57-year-old deceased woman found yesterday as Nancy Bergeson.

Ms. Bergeson resided at the location of the homicide.

"Detectives and crime scene investigators are still at the scene of the homicide," Wheat said. There is no further information at this time.
