(OREGON CITY, Ore.) - Clackamas County Sheriff's Office investigators have completed the necessary forensic crime scene processing in the apartment where a male and female were discovered Sunday evening with gunshot wounds.

Investigators obtained a search warrant for the address of the apparent shooting incident identified as 8640 SE Causey Avenue, Unit #W-209, situated just east of SE 82ND Avenue, in an unincorporated area of Clackamas County.

A team of forensic investigators have been forensically processing this apartment throughout the day in an effort to properly identify and collect items of evidentiary value for this ongoing death investigation.

All Clackamas County Sheriff's Office investigators and resources have departed the scene and have completed this portion of their investigative effort.

Investigators report notifications have been respectfully completed and have authorized the release of the names of the male and female found in the apartment, then transported to a local Portland hospital with gunshot wounds Sunday evening.

The male gunshot victim involved, who died later in the evening at the hospital is identified as:

Larry Dean Dolan, 49, with a residential address of 8640 SE Causey, W-209, in Happy Valley.

The female victim, also transported to a Portland hospital with a gunshot wound, is recovering in the hospital and expected to survive.

This woman is identified as Karen Rae Zirkle, 48, with the same residential address provided as 8640 SE Causey, #W-209, in Happy Valley.

Once again, the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office wants to insure the public that this reported shooting incident does not reveal anything that would suggest the general public is in danger.
