Portland Police Investigate Vandalism to Several Vehicles in East Portland

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - In the early morning hours today, Sunday, November 21, 2010, several vehicles were vandalized in East Portland. Portland Police East Precinct Officers responded to the Northeast 92nd Avenue and Northeast Brazee neighborhood and the Southeast 64th Avenue and Southeast Powell Boulevard neighborhood on reports of windows smashed out of vehicles parked in the areas.

Victims in both neighborhoods report hearing the breaking glass and finding their cars vandalized. Witnesses told police two males in a vehicle were seen riding around the areas smashing the windows of the vehicles with a baseball bat.

Citizens finding their cars vandalized this morning are asked to call the non-emergency number, 503 823-3333, to report the vandalism. Anyone with additional suspect descriptions or information about the identity of the suspects is asked to call East Precinct Detectives at 503 823-4822.
