(HOLLYWOOD, Calif.) - Britney Spears gets a secret liposuction? According to reports, the ex Pop-Queen Britney Spears fled to Nevada last weekend with her cousin for a revolutionary liposuction treatment in a Las Vegas clinic, while telling everyone she was there house hunting. Celebrities Worldwide Diffusion says it seems that Britney paid $12,000 for a sneak liposuction session, so after the two childbirths she is trying to get her old beautiful body back. For the extensive treatment, the 25-year-old mother spent several hours under the care of Dr John Minoli, because, according to the National Enquirer, she was more than happy with the work he had done on her back in April, during another top-secret session. Minoli reportedly uses an advanced laser technology to break down fat during his expensive Smartlipo session. So Britney Spears is finally ready to go up again in the World Pop Ranking, thanks to new lips, less fat and maybe a new pair of breast. In fact, her last photos show that she has got back her “pre-baby boobs” too, rather they seem to be bigger and harder than ever. Tim, you may have suspected, but just in case it eluded you, I have to confess that my tongue was planted so firmly in my cheek that I'm having trouble extricating it. I am curious to know if Bigfoot can be assessed child support. While he seems to be immune to the laws of nature, it remains to be seen if he is subject to the laws of Arkansas.

My initial response to this story was "Who cares?" And then, suddenly, another thought hit me right between the eyes. Why am I reading this at Salem-News? I would expect to see it on the cover of Globe, The National Enquirer, or maybe even The S-J. But Salem-News? Please tell me I won't soon be reading about the 13 year old who gave birth to a child fathered by Bigfoot.
Tim to Curmudgeon: Your frustration is duly noted. This story was not placed on the front page of the site, forgive us but it drives a lot of traffic our way, and that is it. Salem's business community is not taking advantage of our existence to drive the local presence and they are not supporting us, so we are slowly becoming a site that does more national than local news, not that this even qualifies as news. This is not something you will have to deal with very often! Tim
