May-29-2014 13:54TweetFollow @OregonNews O'Keefe Presents TV Program, Says US Subservience to Israel is DangerousSalem-News.comThe 4th Anniversary of the tragedy aboard the Mavi Marmara is May 31st. This prominent Palestinian rights activist blames the US for its blatant support of Israel.
(LONDON PressTV) - Ken O’Keefe is a survivor from the Turkish Gaza-bound aid Freedom Flotilla, which was attacked by Israel in 2010. Having investigated the evidence on the extent of brutality used by the Israeli forces in Mavi Marmara incident, O’Keefe believes the Israeli impunity, earned by the western powers’ support, is highly dangerous. “Whether Israel is bombing civilians in Gaza with white phosphorus or literally executing humanitarian aid workers in the international waters, Israel enjoys an impunity that is simply unparalleled,” adds O'Keefe. He blames Israel and its western allies for collectively punishing more than 800 thousand children by imposing blockade on Gaza and asks, “Is collective punishment and state-sponsored terrorism the best solution humanity has to offer in the 21st century?” On May 31, 2010, the Israeli military attacked the Gaza Freedom Flotilla in the international waters, killing nine Turkish activists on board the Mavi Marmara, which was part of the six-ship aid convoy. This PressTV InFocus program is presented by Ken O'Keefe and gives a thorough explanation of what happened aboard the Mavi Marmara that fateful day, starting at 3 a.m., just after many were finishing their prayers.
