Amber Alert Canceled for Four-Year Old California Girl

(NEWPORT BEACH) - The State of California canceled the Amber Alert Saturday afternoon (05-29) after the girl was recovered safe in Los Angeles and the suspect taken into custody. No further information is available at this time.

It had ben reported earlier that the suspect reportedly suffers from mental health issues and the child's safety was of concern.

Symphony Sarah Aiton, a white female, 4 years old, 3' 5", 32 pounds with black hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen wearing a pink shirt, a black jacket with leopard print fur trim, pink leggings and pink sandals.

The suspect is Angela Marie Aiton, a white female, 5' 7" , 35 years old with blond hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a U.S. Army necklace and light colored shirt and pants.

The suspect vehicle is a black 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee with California tag number 4AXJ869.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Newport Beach Police Department at 949-644-3711 or dial 911.
