Pennsylvania Primary: Barack Obama Ahead in Web Site Searches

There are twice as many searches for Barack Obama than for rival Hillary Clinton, according to the search engine Redzee.com.

(TAMPA, Fla.) - With just weeks before the Pennsylvania primary, there are twice as many searches for “Barack Obama” than "Hillary Clinton," according to the top-100 search engine RedZee.com.

It may be a sign that people in the Keystone State are growing fond of Senator Obama. It’s more likely that voters are querying his name because they are trying to learn more about him, says John Stewart, RedZee Search™ president.

"Unfortunately all we can do is look at the numbers and the data," says Stewart, "There’s no way to explain why."

Stewart says RedZee’s revolutionary technology makes it possible to produce up to 100 Web pages that match queries in a single search, instead of the conventional top 10 search results found on Google and other text-based search engines.

"RedZee is becoming the Web site where young voters in particular are turning to when wanting to learn about political candidates," says Stewart. "Our search engine is all about visuals so you can instantly decide whether a Web site is worth visiting."

With about a month to go before the Pennsylvania primary, Clinton leads Obama among likely Democratic voters, 51% to 35%, according to the March Franklin & Marshall College poll. Her lead in Pennsylvania has more than doubled since a February poll.

Pennsylvania holds its primary April 22nd. You can search the political candidates by visiting: RedZee.com.

Located in Tampa, Florida, RedZee Inc. is one of the top 100 search engines on the Web. With a red and white striped zebra as its corporate mascot, RedZee™ broke into the crowded search engine market a few years ago by offering a family-friendly alternative.

The company says it continues to be committed to ridding smut from Internet search results, but says it wants to be known as the company that changed the face of online search.

I'm sure Obama has experienced a lot what you stated B.K., but poverty is not one of them. I am only pointing this out because for him to win we need to minimize any and all false assertions that pertain to his character and experience to help disallow future attacks on his integrity. Wouldn't it be great if he wins Pennsylvania? If he does I wonder if Clinton would throw in the towel? She keeps losing super-delegates on a daily level, I wonder if she has some tactic going on?

I support Barack Obama 100% and feel very strongly that he should be the next president. He will unite the country. He understands adversity; he has lived it. He understands the race problem; he has lived it. He understands poverty; he has lived it. Experience is the best teacher. He is compassionate and passionate about his service to his beloved country, the U.S.A.

I have been seeing a lot of different takes on Obama's speech, I guess when the primary is held we will know at least how the people of Pennsylvania evaluated it. But expect considerable verbal lightening and thunder in the next few weeks. If Obama wins, Clinton will fade then drop. If not, then we have a brokered convention this summer, and that is not good.

SORRY mis-spelled Lakoff name, and must also report his analysis here is strongly political in tone, too, pointing out the absolutely essential elements of what is happening in American in our 21st Century...would NOT want anyone to be misled this is simple-simon language-stuff... IF you dare to think outside the party-prescribed old-hat roles, this one for you...

Frugal et al: Your insightful analysis on target. DO believe impact-delayed from Obama historic speech in Constitution Hall may now be just beginning, and can become among top influences on the national election. Any thoughtful person with average awareness of American history cannot but see strong consequences-coming from this address, as those studying it are now reporting. This is a key state for both the primary and the general election. The democratic presidential candidate simply cannot win this November if they do not win Penn by a significant percentage. The closer the results for Obama and Clinton may not be all that great in the final analysis. If Obama wins by 8+ points he will win in November in a walk. If it's a wash, then the divisivness between the two candidates supporters will be a big blow for the eventual general candidate.
