15-Year Old Monmounth Runaway Located

(MONMOUTH, Ore.) - UPDATE: On March 15, 2010 at approx. 6:30 pm Tanner Norton, a runaway juvenile since March 11th, contacted his parents by phone. He stated he was in Portland and asked that they pick him up.

Tanner is now home safe with his family.

The Monmouth Police Department would like to thank all those who helped bring about this positive ending, including the Oregon Department of Justice who assisted in this investigation.

On March 12, 2010 the family of Tanner Norton reported him as a runaway with the Monmouth Police Department.

He was in possession of a large, light blue bag.
