(WINDSOR, N.H.) - The announcement, today, by the ruling military of Egypt offers a HOLLOW VICTORY for Mohamed Morsi and Brotherhood in EGYPT. There is very little chance that the actual ruling military will allow Morsi to appropriately seat himself as head of the Egyptian government. What is likely is that Morsi will be given a mandate by the military and face removal should he refuse the military's demands. Being that the US has heavily supported Morsi, albeit surreptitiously, with intentions of maintaining the depth of previous agreements formed with Mubarak, it is also very likely that the US will put pressure on Morsi to abide by the military edicts. As this election evolved, it quickly became clear the Egyptian people would take a hit with either candidate winning. The hit now having been broadcast, it is up to the people of Egypt to brace themselves for the next phase of their valiant struggle and to reinforce their revolution through first directing efforts toward ending the hold the military retains and then putting the Brotherhood on notice that the power of the people will force their removal, as certainly as they deposed Mubarak, should Morsi enact any legislation which attempts to disrupt the revolution. It is important for the people to make abundantly clear that the revolution was not solely invested in removal of Mubarak and is not, now, over solely because of the election. The revolution is an ongoing process designed to solidify power in the populace and not in any cults or juntas. The world continues to keep its eyes and ears, as well its heart, on the revolution in Egypt. The resolve with which Egypt comports itself in facing its newly established government will not only determine whether or not the people bow and bend to the illusions of this puppet and the machinations of the characters who work its strings but will, as it has already, set the pace and promise of all the other nations who are working their own revolutions. http://51j.4s.sl.pt
